There is truth in the saying "you won't understand until you have your own". The love I feel for my kids are like nothing else and nothing before it.
With that said, I'd never tell someone they would regret not having kids. As much as I love them, they take ALL my time and then some. It is a very big investment of your time (years) and if you don't want that, that's cool.
We also bought under our maximum budget at the time. Good call as well because my partner got sick and had to stay at home for a year. We had to use a lot of our savings that did not go into buying a house to pay our bills.
Mostly not. I never see any of it, but I have taken to block any and all US politics (but even before that, it was seldom). It is there if you want to find it and feel like having pointless arguments with people.
The whole point is to make it because I want to. As I said, I can just prepare my MoccaMaster the day before and the coffee will be one button press away in the morning.
That's exactly what I want to do! I saw a post some years ago, someone had connected a ~ESP32 (or the like) to their coffee maker, connected it to the WiFi and made an app to remote controll it.
I want to do something similar. Prepp the coffee in the evening, set a time for the machine to start and then have fresh coffee when I wake up. I realise that I could just do all of this and just press the button when I wake up instead, but the idea of this makes me happy.
I love my wireless charger. I have an older iPhone with their stupid lightning port, no USB C for me. So instead I just use my wireless charger. No fuss with cables, put it on the pad to charge, pick it up to check something, put it back on. No fuss, no mess, perfection.
This reminds me of my parents explaning to me as a kid that even if you are the best driver in the world, everyone else is not and they cannot read your mind. So it would still be dangerous.

I am tempted to buy it and see if the ads are there.
EDIT: Found the PDF, it is not the same one as referred to in the article. EDIT2: Or at least the ad is not there.
