Valve: Steam Deck™ Certified Refurbished
  • This is great, lowers the bar for entry for newcomers!

  • I just came out to my mom as gay
  • I am certain it wasn't easy, but nothing worth it ever is. Congratulations, and here's to being you.

Hoping, much like yourself, that the stigma and pain behind coming out vanishes sooner rather than later.

  • Final update to Apollo with an option to opt out of the refund
  • Without a doubt, it's got to be surreal for him. I can't even imagine.

  • In the grand scheme of history, this is nothing. But it's hard not to feel like I'm living through a huge moment.

The news, connections, answers, laughter, sadness, shock, joy--all of it--that this app delivered to me will be fondly cherished.

  • Steam Summer Sale starts tomorrow: What's on your wishlist for the Steam Deck?
  • Hopefully nothing I want goes on sale. I have to cut back on my spending.

Although, I have $30 set aside for games every month, so you never know.

  • I haven't been on Reddit since the 11th... Anyone else?
  • Outside of looking up some very niche stuff (r/NoContract, etc) on desktop, haven't touched it. Granted, haven't been on bin.social much either.

  • What petty hill will you die on?
  • I deem this opinion absolute fact. Unless you're at Louis' Lunch in New Haven, CT, you have no need for a tomato on burger.

  • TIL that millennial dads are spending 3 times as much times with their kids than their fathers spent with them. Back in 1982, 43% of fathers admitted they'd never changed a diaper. Today, that number
  • High five back!

I'm 86, but I feel you. Before he passed, my dad played with his granddaughter in a similar fashion. My theory was, he saw how involved I (and my peers) was and realized it wasn't too late.

  • Whoo, does this put me in a good mood.

My dad did his best considering he lost his dad at 14, so I don't blame him too much. But if there was something I knew I'd do one day as a dad (currently have a 4-year-old daughter) it'd be spending free time with her.

My generation isn't the best, but I knew this was a statistic we'd slam dunk.

  • Google Pixel Tablet review: It’s all about the dock
  • I've been slowly removing Alexa from my life, but it seems very tough for me to nix our Echo Show in the Kitchen. It's been useful.

I went the HomeKit route instead of Google, so a HomePod with a screen is what I wish for (though I know it won't ever come). That being said, this does look pretty slick.

  • What are your favorite cookbook/blogs?
  • George Motz’s newest edition of The Great American Burger Book is absolutely worth grabbing. Wild recipes and plenty of history and method.

Currently cooking one every other week for my neighbors, and I gotta make a cheese sauce!

  • Who else lost their Steam Deck to their kids?
  • Thankfully she's only four and not very tall.

  • Reddit.com /r/Apple has just gone private
  • I picked a weird time to buy a Mac mini, MBA, iPad Air, and subscribe to Apple One.

  • Quick, make as many Magazines as possible!
  • It won't even allow me to select a photo to upload as the menu disappears when my mouse moves to click the "Upload" button
