The father of the F-16, John Boyd, would tell up and coming officers that in their career they would have to face choices where they could do something or be somebody. And we are facing the consequences of having our country’s leadership full of people who wanted to be somebody.
A European Army would be an interesting outcome, america would save a lot when it lost it’s bases there and became a regional power. Sure, the US would lose any say in a lot of matters that concern it, but they would learn, like the UK, to complain loudly and be ignored.
Also, this is Tennessee, so we know they will already have their own guns. It’s not as if we’re trying to demand each teacher have a full set of teeth.
This implies one of two things. Either these were sitting across the boarder, waiting for approval, or they were already there in a warehouse labeled “inexpensive potatoes” waiting for approval. It must have been so hard to wait if they were already in-country, but congress had to get off its collective elephant ass to approve the money for them.
That would defeat the business model - they don’t want to pay to do security, they want to be paid to walk you to security. If they did security and took the liability associated, this would be a great service.
Yes, I was in line at… either SFO or San Bernidino, it’s been a while. They asked if I wanted to try it and I asked what it was, then they said the personal info they wanted and I said no way. They had people walking along their empty line talking to people in the TSA line. The TSA line was actually moving pretty smoothly that day, I bet they got more takers on slow days.
I feel like this post was astroturfing that went horribly wrong for Clear. I’d like to thank all my fellow travelers who see this is a horrible additional fee that they want to make mandatory not to wait behind their pointless service.
Anyone who thinks this is a good service deserves to wait in the regular line for every ride at Disney.
