  • No defense for this one, it's clearly a deliberate act. I get that sometimes a bad hit happens and that's a whole different safety discussion but this kid knocked the victim down (because football), got up, stood over him and belly-flopped him into the ground. I wonder how many other kids he's maimed with that move.

  • I'm just a simple country hyper-chicken so don't take this to court just bec-buck-buck-bc-GAAWK!

    Excuse me.

... because I said so. Stupidity may be a defense if the standard being applied requires knowledge that the statements in question are likely to cause damage to another. If those statements are true, no problem, that's a complete defense. If they're not, the lawyers get to duke it out in court.

Most often, that won't come into play though since a lot of states assume that the person making the false statements does so with the requisite guilty state of mind. It's not universal though which is why the non-stick dick might get away with this too.

I'm using https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/defamation as a reference, any errors in interpretation are my own.

  • If you're dying of thirst, you'll take every last tiny drop you can slurp down. Whoever came up with the idea probably bought themselves a little more time in a cushy administrative role away from the front lines which is the real objective.

  • I hope Kenvue (which used to be the consumer healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson) brings down an army of lawyers on these chucklefucks for the bullshit they're spewing. Hardest part would be proving that said chucklefucks knew their claims were false though since it's plausible that they really are this stupid.

  • Some day, they'll learn what he was. If that doesn't put an end to any residual positive feelings for him, I don't have a shit to give about how they take the well-deserved vicious mockery.

  • The most charitable interpretation is that he's still holding a grudge about having to shave because it doesn't obliterate his face to do so. Pretty sure he's just a bigoted assclown though (with all appropriate apologies to non-bigoted assclowns).

  • Deezer's largest shareholder is Access Industries, Inc which was founded by Len Blavatnik. He's one of the ~50 individuals on whom sanctions were imposed in June 2024 by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and has been pumping money into efforts to sway public opinion in favor of Israeli genociders.
