Biden is the Democratic nominee against Trump. Get over it.
  • Hey there! Thank you for this super informative and well-documented and cited response. While I am always open to recommendations on how to improve my life, I usually reserve taking those recommendations from people who actually care about my well-being. Maybe reserve your recommendations for people with whom you have more in common with, namely people who have placed their rectum firmly around their neck.

  • Useful idiot
  • If you think leftists “just” shifted to hating Biden, I’ve got news for you. In fact, I don’t know anybody, I mean ANYbody on the left that has nothing but distain for Biden for the last several years. Did you ever consider that people are allowed different opinions from you without being paid operatives.

  • Okay, Biden isn’t popular. But his policies sure are.
  • Biden ran on a bunch of popular proposed policies, but then got into office and suddenly a lot of those policies “weren’t practical”. My point is that I don’t care about what Biden says, his actions speak much louder.

  • It's exhausting...
  • Not suggestions, misinformation. Like it lied about how a caucus should be run, lied about what happens in a disagreement, lied about how delegates have to vote. Like someone in our precinct ended up calling the Iowa DNC to confirm that information that Clinton’s campaign provided was wrong.

  • It's exhausting...
  • She was shady. She was manipulative. I saw it firsthand during the Iowa caucuses of 2016 when she sent out a guide on “how to run a caucus” with a bunch of stuff that was intentionally misleading to favor an establishment candidate.

  • It's exhausting...
  • I love how this is painted entirely as the fault of people who chose not to vote, and not the fault of the Democrats who seem to try their best to run the shittiest possible candidate. If Democrats would have run a candidate that was worth voting for, maybe more people would have turned out to vote for their candidate.

  • Casual reminder
  • If you look at many people’s material conditions during Trump and during Biden, they haven’t gotten better. You can say whatever you want about Biden’s policies, his cabinet appointments, and how much Democrats have done when they hold power, but at the end of the day it hasn’t changed most folks’ lives one bit. It might be good metric-wise, but until folks feel like they’re better off it doesn’t matter.

Also, it’s hilarious to me how much shit Republicans seem to get done even when they don’t hold the House, Senate, and White House together, but the minute Republicans get one of those, suddenly it’s “oh shit Democrats can’t do anything”. It’s like Republicans are playing with nukes and Democrats are showing up with rubber band guns.

And no, I won’t be voting for Biden, I’ll be voting third party. And I know, you think “a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump”, but I don’t give a shit. I’ve been seeing this same “at least I’m not…” shit for 25 years and watching our country be sold to the highest bidder under both parties. At this point, if we can’t figure out shit out, we deserve to be razed to the ground.

  • Can we defederate from hexbear.net?

I’m not sure what’s going on over there, but half the time I see a post from there or go into a comment section and it’s just…bad. Like old reddit the_donald bad. Constant trolling, etc. You TS just really bad vibes. I’ve been blocking the communities as they come up, but I’m not sure what else I can do.
