Two-horse chariot races (bigae) were held in the Campus Martius, the area of Rome named for Mars, after which the right-hand horse of the winning team was transfixed by a spear, then sacrificed. The horse's head (caput) and tail (cauda) were cut off and used separately in the two subsequent parts of the ceremonies: two neighborhoods staged a fight for the right to display the head, and the freshly bloodied cauda was carried to the Regia for sprinkling the sacred hearth of Rome.
I just watched this YouTube video last night of someone setting up Bazzite on a mini pc to create a sort of Steam Machine, might be nice to check out. https://youtu.be/f45hDPOrzFI
Perhaps you moved from Europe to the States in the interim like I did.
Edit to add: sorry if this came off as snarky, was not my intention. Just wanted to point out that it's not always so clear-cut. I created my Reddit account in 2008 when I lived in the Netherlands. Then I moved to the US in 2016 and became a citizen in 2019.
Navalny most certainly wasn't stupid. He understood what he was getting into when he got on that flight back to Russia. My guess is that he hoped his arrest and detention would spark an uprising, which sadly didn't materialize.
I would not have made the choice he did, but I'm also not as brave as he is. Fuck Putin.
Funny thing you should say that because IIRC there actually is a Starbucks on the left right around the corner (though with a traditional facade at least). Source: wife and I were there last year.
Are you me? Because that sounds just like me. I can't make it through the day without an afternoon nap and have heart palpitations at night. All this started after a bout of covid in early 2021 right before vaccines were available.
In OP's defense, it's kinda hard to tell nowadays if someone's joking or not. Satire is dead and buried.
Edit to add: there absolutely is a non zero chance that the guy in the pic literally and purposefully peed his pants, thought that was a flex and subsequently bragged about it on the primary social network for professionals.
Good. They stole this man's life. The evidence that exonerated him was available to the people involved with his protection 30 years ago. Insane that it took this long.
Usually it is? But ultimately it's still your own responsibility. You did not pay the dev, the dev does not ask you to pay them, ergo the dev owes you diddly squad.
