In my phone (Google pixel) I mainly use Firefox for browsing. While Chrome is still the default browser. At some point I'll change default also to Firefox. I didn't do this because I'm not logged into some apps there.

Economy is still shit but at least it got better than a few years ago.

Fair enough. But that's why I mentioned "some" and not "all". I've never heard about a Toyota impacted by this issue.

Mitsubishi are definitely impacted. Some Mazda too according to some people posting. But I've read less posts about Mazda. They must be using some similar Bluetooth receivers in the infotainment system.

This is possibly the first post when this issue originated but then in January 2025 they improved it with a workaround that works till today, but before connection was always automatic without any workaround.

Anyway. Every single time you start the engine you need to go to Bluetooth settings on the phone toggle "media audio" (that failed to connect automatically) one or two times and then it connects and you can enjoy BT normally. A pain in the ass especially for 10 minute trips.

Right. And which Mitsubishi model and year do you have?

I still use that Bluetooth everyday in my Mitsubishi Outlander I don't need more than this.. I also installed some magnet mount for the phone case.

The only problem is that since December 2024 android release on Pixels it stopped connecting "media audio" automatically due to some timing issue or something. So I have to manually toggle that button on my phone since that day.... (Google Pixel) And now Samsung seems to have the same issue since they started updating to newer android versions.

Google is not focusing on fixing this and just focusing on Android auto instead. But it only impacts some Japanese makes. I think some Mazda also have the issue.

I remember I started using more Skype after it MSN Messenger.

But I'd say it got killed by WhatsApp on mobile phones.

Yeah and recently got an argument with someone saying that the SD was no competitor for the Switch.

In my opinion both are directly trying to fill a market where you can play games anywhere.

It's true that Nintendo also has their own closed games that can only be played on their hardware (officially at least).

But beyond each console's game library the need for having a portable console is a more important factor.

I haven't even picked the LCD 128GB SD...just didn't pick the option with max storage. Also haven't picked the PS5P with the Disc reader..

But anyway. This meme is very specific (and pointless) and it is just targeting a minority who would be choosing between a high end console to play at the sofa on the big screen and a handheld to play anywhere.

I think the main SD group of people, is people who want a handheld, and that group of people generally choose between SD, Nintendo Switch, or other handhelds (like the Asus ROG etc).

Some would go with Nintendo because they just care about Nintendo games. But the majority is just looking for a handheld to play any good games anywhere.

To answer the last question. I have a PC, a PS5 and a SD. So some people who own a SD would buy a PS5. If I'm on my couch I use the PS5. If I'm at the terrace, or on a flight, etc. I use the SD.

I've seen this in all SAP projects that have outsourced resources in India. No matter their company. EY is just one in a big list of huge consulting firms.

Some just adapt to CET time (when the project is based in Europe). But others start working on India time (GMT+5) and finish working on EST time (GMT-5).

I'm not sure if it's the meme but here (Europe) there is a huge difference in price between the basic 512GB OLED SD and the basic PS5 pro option.

Honestly I prefer this to Microsoft Edge stealing (importing) all my chrome passwords and bookmarks without my consent. Something they do from time to time.

The country is already lost, owned by the people in power.

Only the locals can overthrow them from the power now. And not with elections.

It is very important to get rid of these kind of governments (that manages the country with the only objective to stay in power) as soon as possible.

Every time I get it (like once every 2-3 years) for me it's never with diarrhea.

Just agonizing with a lot of vomits, fever, congestion, coughing, muscle pain etc.

They should do it like on consoles, reduce the graphics to guarantee stable FPS on resource intensive moments (like combat).

Although, on PS5 they apply a lot of variable rate shading mixed with upscaling/FSR. VRS is something I don't really like but it the drop is minimal it's ok.

I think that upgrading it with just 22% faster processor is kind of killing it.

The current CCWGTV performance sucks.

The CCWGTV performance is a shit at 4K. The UI is far from smooth, some UHD shows randomly drop frames and sometimes I have to restart the device because Netflix and prime stop working.

Eventually I'll replace it, if the new device sucks I might try apple TV.

I mean it's a tiny device after all.

I also now have an HDR 4K 144Hz VRR OLED TV so it would be nice to get a device that supports this max resolution (like the PS5).

I'm in the same boat.

Elden Ring, Helldivers 2, many games I'd get on Sony PS Store that I just get on Steam because I want to "own" the full game not just the offline part of it.
