Played hours on CS2 yesterday... ran perfectly fine on my Arch installation... haven't experienced these issues...
Yeah it's something that'll take time... reddit had years of activity to give it the beef of info and content. Lemmy will get there, just going up steadily :) (reddit refugee)
Currently enjoying the Eternity experience. It is still being developed and reshaped for Lemmy as it was off of the Infinity for Reddit project, but the UI is quite please.
5 years with my Litre Yeti, going strong. When I drop it it tends to dent the ground not itself
Good bot
Woah forgot about this game... Do you have the discs still or do you emulate?
My two most frequented games would be Stardew valley or Animal crossing. Specifically the GameCube version (emulation if you don't have one) or New Horizons (been surprisingly refreshing)
Nothing against the other versions I just haven't tried them.
Hopefully other subreddits follow suit and help push people out to new sites. Too much is held by the big corporations, love the idea of more options and a wider source to take from rather than just a handful of micromanaged sources.
I get the Nvidia issues for sure, I also tried Fedora but just felt more comfortable once getting acclimated to arch. I'd say give it a whirl if you are up for it. It works well with my Zephyrus G14 which also has an Nvidia GPU.
Not trying to sell you on it but you may like it, maybe try it in a Virtual Machine for a bit?
EndeavourOS. It's a variant of Arch, I had hopped around different OS and was on Windows for a bit before switching back to Linux. Ive stuck with Endeavour as it feels quick and nimble but performs great on gaming (better than the native windows install on my PC) and the access to the AUR is a massive perk
