For a couple of years now I have been working at a shop in a very, very impoverished and rough part of my city that is predominately occupied by low income minorities. I hope this doesn’t come off condescending but it took me a while to realize that a not insignificant number of our customers struggled to read the menu and price, info ect about products we had. I feel bad even for being a bit frustrated in the past by this, and we do our best to accommodate everyone and make them feel welcomed now I like to think anyway. But this is certainly a widespread issue that is rarely discussed or understood especially by those who reside only in wealthier areas or what not.

I really enjoyed the Barbie movie, it was thought provoking without being preachy or trying to drive a particular narrative. It was also funny, and sad, and overall fun to watch with great costume and set design. Probably will go see it again if its still in theaters at the end of the month honestly

The idea of a team on non-state backed Ukrainians just renting a recreational yacht, somehow loading all the required equipment on there (procured from where?), and then puttering around the Baltic Sea, one of the most heavily watched naval regions on earth during a war presumably crawling with sensors and surveillance, to place chargers in FOUR different spots without anyone saying or doing anything just seems ludicrous. The idea of using the military games as cover just makes so much sense.

There has been wide spread suppression and outright banning of opposition parties and even moderately dissenting voices since the 2014 coup. It has only accelerated since the conflict heated up last year.

Zelensky doesn’t have to come and outright say there are no elections or opposition for it to be the obvious case, as the meme is making fun of. To describe the post coup Ukraine government as democratic is just strictly laughable.

Still very different games I would say. A lot of people will probably still prefer D2 but I think 4 does a good job of expanding upon systems and adding complexity missing in D3 while still keeping things streamlined.

I think also they achieve the D2 sort of atmosphere much more but it still isn’t quite the same. I haven’t really properly played D2 in well over a decade though so I could be off base.

Is this show worth watching ? I’m a religiously devout football supporter/watcher and have had it recommended to me often but it’s always looked… kinda stupid ? I guess scenes like that is the sorta writing I’m concerned about lol

Someone needs to physically go to Blizzard headquarters, gain access to their account system and remove my license for Diablo 4. I have lost far too much time to this game in the past couple of weeks shit is too addicting. Fantastic game though I’d say, already better in every way compared to D3.

My saturday I worked about 13 hours between my two jobs, and then played Diablo 4 with some friends online. Sunday I have to write a test for a course I'm taking that I've been putting off, and other than that I'm gonna go attend a football/soccer match in the afternoon and then just relax and try to recuperate for the week ahead.

I always want to go out partying on my weekends but as I get older I have to pick and choose, as it pretty much writes off the entire next day and potentially part of the following day. I have too much that needs to be done for that. At the same time I find it so boring if I'm not out.
