Niri & Noctalia are awesome. It's not quite as easy to configure as Cosmic Desktop, but the paradigm works way better and faster when you get used to it.

I don't know what you mean by better. But here in Finland everybody always drives +10km/h over the limit, whatever the limit is. Because that's about the limit where you do not yet get fined.
