Excuse me? If anything, the 2024 election made it crystal clear that the American people will, in fact, tolerate the blatant waste, fraud, and abuse of our hard-earned tax dollars. 77 million people actually voted for it.

Yeah, NewsThump writes some very funny headlines, but the body of their articles don't always live up to the high standard set by The Onion. This one cracked me up though. It's the best I've read from them in a while.

That's probably for the best. I loved Home Improvement as a kid, but after rewatching it during the pandemic, I was pretty disappointed that it hasn't held up as well as other popular sitcoms of the '90s. Every episode is just a generic "men are from Mars, women are from Venus" story with some random grunting thrown in. Hell, that kind of material was stale before the show even premiered.
