Is is possible to make a material where something appears to be beneath a semi-transparent surface?
  • Check out an ice shader (ex: https://godotshaders.com/shader/spatial-ice-shader/). I'd imagine you could make a rectangle or plane with a material using the shader and place it over your creature. There's lots of good information in the Godot docs on shaders, I would recommend taking a look once you have a good grasp on the basics with materials.

  • why are companies trying so hard to have employees back in the office?
  • They spent millions building a facility or are locked into 5/10 year leases. I've also heard it's because cities are dying, no one in offices to eat 'down the street' at the food shops, people don't stop at the bar on the way home, no impulse shopping trip because you're already out.
