would you do this?
  • Unless the series was over, it'd be impossible to watch them in that order.

Imagine if they release a new episode where they visit a certain point in history. Would you have to watch all of the episodes chronologically after that one again?

  • PlayStation's CEO drastically underestimates the Steam crowd's patience, thinks PC gamers will buy a PS5 for exclusive sequels
  • Sony, the friendly publisher who is making PC gaming friends every day with their "required PSN" addition to already released games (and new ones to be published) thinks these same PC gaming folks will buy a console to play PS exclusive sequels...

Why do they think that someone who hasn't bought a console already for games like Bloodbourne, God of War, Uncharted, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon: Zero Dawn, etc. would buy one for a sequel of any of them??

  • Self-hosted YouTube downloader?
  • I've been using Pinchflat for a while and so far it's been great for me. It can automatically rescan the channel or playlist on a defined time (like every day or every week), and download new videos. It uses yt-dlp so you can configure all the parameters you want it to use for the download

  • Snikket is a simple, secure and private messaging app (based on XMPP)
  • I know, bit Snikket still uses ports 80/443 for its web interface and group file sharing service. It even has a page for Reverse Proxy configuration, but it doesn't include Traefik and the configuration is non-trivial

  • Microsoft now permits uninstalling Edge, Bing, and OneDrive to adhere to the EU's Digital Markets Act.
  • Luckily you don't need Window$. You can install Edge on your Linux distro of choice! Will it then show warnings telling you Edge is the bestest browser when you use it to search for another browser? Who knows, why not try it and find out??? Please someone use Edge on Linux, Micro$oft is now a friend of Linux

  • Looking for games with strong female leads for my daughter (even just to watch as I play). Came across this link, but they're a bit age-inappropriate. Any suggestions from the community?
  • Hmm, some games with a strong female lead that I've played:

    • A hat in time. Lovely 3D platformer

    • Subnautica: Below Zero. Sequel to the original Subnautica but enjoyable without having played the first one. Loved both games.

    • Gris

    • Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

    • Kena: Bridge of Spirits

    • River City Girls: Pixel art beat 'em up

    • Horizon Zero Dawn

    • The latest Tomb Raider trilogy

    • Portal and Portal 2

  • *Permanently Deleted*
  • Same, I got it for 2.50 in 2012 and I've played around 500 hours. It's surprising the amount of content they've added to the game over the years.

I still remember the surprise I got when I found out there was a boss battle at the underworld, and beating it unlocked even more and better stuff. At that point I think the last bosses you could fight were the mechanical bosses and the best armor was the Hallowed set.
