Hi everyone :) Since 2019 I've been collecting various links from the web development and design world.

Recently I've put them all on the website of WebDev Town, which I update every day.

I hope you'll find something useful over there :)

PS. It's open-source, and you can also submit resources if you have a cool side project you want to show others

What is an artist that is very popular in your country but widely unknown outside?

I’ll start: for Germany, I’d go for Die Ärzte. A rock/pop/punk band from the 80s which is still active today. One of my all-time favorites because I grew up with them :)

Looking forward to some great new music discoveries 😁

Let’s do a small Fediverse chess tournament! Everyone is welcome to join! We will play 10-minute games (10+0) on lichess [https://lichess.org/], a free and open-source chess website. You will be assigned an opponent and will have 2 days to schedule and play your match. I will decide on the structure...

I created a small web app to help me get fit again by easily building a workout routine

Hey everyone, let's revive this place :)

I recently finished the first version of this open-source web app. I'd love to hear your thoughts and improvement ideas.

what web browser do you use and why?
  • It's probably because I've used them for the last years and am more used to firefox dev tools :)

But generally it's not a big of a difference

  • what web browser do you use and why?
  • Yeah it's sad that almost all browsers are based on chromium. I also like the devtools of firefox more

  • what web browser do you use and why?
  • A fairly new browser based on chromium

    https://arc.net/

  • what web browser do you use and why?
  • I recently switched from Firefox to Arc, which is in closed beta right now. It has a great Tab management. If anyone is interested I can send you an invite :)

  • Anyone up for a lemmy chess tournament over lichess?

Hey everyone :) I'd like to organize a small tournament for lemmy users. Would anyone be interested in joining? And would you be interested in a specific time format or format? Like would you prefer a one time event or a league format etc

    Cheers
