U.N. atomic watchdog clears Japan’s plan to release Fukushima wastewater
  • As long as the water is treated properly irradiated water basically just has Deuterium and Tritium in it. I mean, I don't want to drink a glass of heavy water but putting this back in the ocean is not going to change the current concentrations in any meaningful way. What's the concern here? If they didn't filter out radioactive materials, sure that would be an issue but that is not the case.
