The Star Trek: Legacy we deserve

How much has the way you use the AR Wall changed the way you make Star Trek?

It’s changed a lot. It changes like every six months. And we’re even having conversations now about how to integrate it in Starfleet Academy slightly differently than what we’ve done on Strange New Worlds, Discovery, and Section 31. So it’s a huge tool. But like any digital tool, it needs to be used very thoughtfully. I think that what I like more than anything is to create a world that feels grounded. And sometimes it can sort of make you feel like you’re inside a video game. So we’re really trying hard to make sure that’s not the feeling.

It's a small thing, but I guess this confirms that SFA will film in Toronto, not LA.

The Gizmodo Media Group has fallen on extremely hard times, to say the least.

Literally no one but Terry Matalas has "teased" anything, and he's been very open about the fact that there's no movement whatsoever on it becoming a reality.

It's probably just as "locked" as any other time period, which is to say not at all. Recent SNW episodes have hammered home the idea that the present, past, and future are all somewhat malleable.

Bagged milk was available in MB in the late 80s/early 90s, but it disappeared some time after that.

Yes and no - the console releases lag behind PC by a couple of months.

The variety is pretty decent, within the confines of the genre.

You get some combat, tricorder scan jobs, diplomacy, a little bit of shuttle piloting. The story that's being told is very specific.

I'm an absolute riot at wakes.

Nothing overly complex. The game is more about morality than puzzle solving.

I think it's pretty great, yeah.

The story feels very much like an extended episode of Star Trek.

None of that is true.

"Legacy" is an imaginary show. It's never been put into development, and there's no indication that will change.

I assume you don't care about spoilers, but just in case...
