  • I don't think anyone should be coming here. I have a couple equaintances who are out of the country long term, and are naturalized citizens; they're pretty wary about coming back. They plan on dawdling outside the US as long as they can.

    There have been at least 24 school shootings in the United States so far this year, as of April 28. Nine were on a college campus, and 15 were on K-12 school grounds. (And yes, I am old enough to remember when the fancy tv options were available over an aerial with a motor on it, that you rotated to pick up different regional area broadcasts. Oooh!) If you wanted cable tv, you had to get an actual physical cable run to your house. All the other delivery options have now just sort of glommed on to the term "cable."
