What game is too terrifying to finish for you?
  • You know I thought I was going to be unique with this one.

This game gave me so much fucking anxiety that I couldn't finish it. The dark atmosphere and the constant whispering in your ear made me feel like I was straight up hallucinating. It fucked with my head so hard.

  • What is every here printing with?
  • Wanhao i3 Duplicator was my first printer. Used it for ever but I finally gave up on it after countless hours modifying and upgrading it.

Bought a p1p and holy shit is this thing amazing. I should have done this so much sooner.

Just built and enclosure for the p1p, and I am going to salvage what I can from the i3 and make a voron 0.2

  • Looking For Something to Read
  • 9 books, with I believe also 9 novellas. 6 seasons of a show that cover the first 6 books. A video game coming out as well as some comic books.

Books 3-6 very much deal with the premise of humanity discovering FTL travel and what happens to the political landscape when they do.

    Fantastic series. Definitely recommend.

  • Can anyone help give me some guidance or tell me what's going wrong with my prints? I've been trying to get it to print smooth for some time, but this keeps happening.
  • To add to this, I would highly recommend not worrying about using a .10mm layer height until you have reliable prints at .20mm height.

Trying to get finer detail is just compounding issues onto a print that looks to have quite a few things wrong.

I agree with you on underextruding. Easiest way to test would be for OP to measure 150mm of filament from the entrance of the extruder and mark it. Set nozzle temp to 215 or so, and manually extrude 100mm. Then re-measure to your mark and see how far off you are. If it's way off OP needs to calibrate his extruder motor steps.

Also as other people have said, might be worth trying a different filament, especially if that filament is really old.

  • Foundation Season 2 draws near, starts 14 July
  • I honestly could not make it through the first... 4 or 5 episodes. Didn't help that I had just reread the series prior to watching and it honestly felt like they went out of their way to completely shit all over the source material.

Idk maybe I'll try watching it again one day.

  • Cyberpunk 2077 was “better than it was received,” CDPR dev says
  • Why is it a problem with CP2077? Couldn't possibly be because there's a prominent trans character

Literally no one here is complaining about this, and you are the only one to bring this up. I have at least triple the time in Witcher 3 that I do in CP2077 and I never once completed the game in Witcher 3. Because there is so much more to do in that game. It is a more vibrant world, with more engaging side quests and little areas to explore.

There's nothing to explore in CP2077. It honestly feels like you are driving around in a vast wasteland for 90% of the game.

  • GOG is doing much better than in 2022
  • I do not fucking understand this. You're never going to compete with Steam. But you have this niche of DRM free marketplace and you ignore the entire Linux community? A community that THRIVES on FOSS and DRM free software.

It's such an idiotic move to not develop a linux client. I will never fucking comprehend this.

  • Cyberpunk 2077 was “better than it was received,” CDPR dev says
  • The difference is, there was actually engaging content outside the main story quest in those games.

I'm at 67 hours in Cyberpunk and last time I logged in I spent 20-30 minutes just TRYING to find something to do. There was absolutely nothing that pulled you into the world. There's no base building mechanic. No fishing or hunting. Just.. empty lifelessness.

I'm not trying to say it's a bad game. The story was really fun. But if you are expecting some vast open world game that leaves you plenty to do outside the story... this just ain't it. At least in my own personal experiences. I dumped FAR more time into games like RDR2 and Fallout 4.

  • Cyberpunk 2077 was “better than it was received,” CDPR dev says
  • I'm glad some of you had fun with the story

Not to mention the story was still very much on rails. Even if there were like what, 3 different outcomes? And on top of that, once you beat the game there is absolutely fuck all to do.

Honestly. I put about 50-60 hours into cyberpunk. I enjoyed every single hour of it. But once the main campaign was complete, there was just nothing left to do. I tried many times to jump back in and go do side quests or explore but the world is just completely empty.

Can someone explain to me how kbins reputation system works?

Because currently, it seems like the only thing it's recording are downvotes. Meanwhile upvotes are completely ignored, leading to pretty much every profile I see having a negative reputation.

Also, I have a very fragile ego and my -6 reputation hurts a bit.
