This is why the GOP are fundamentally unfit to govern. It would be like hiring a construction worker who intentionally dismantled or delayed the project every chance they got. That person isn't a builder with "different opinions," they are a saboteur and should be banned from ever working construction again.
Obsessed with Legacy of the Wizard as a kid on my NES. I didn't even realize the goal was to get crowns until I revisited as an adult. I can still hum 5 or 6 different scores from the games soundtrack 30 years later.
If it gives you some solace, Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) is a big fan of Jane and had her on his podcast (Factually) just a few months back and it seemed like they had a fast mentor/mentee relationship going. Adam is also a member of the negotiation committee for the WGA so I expect some of her methods are being used, albeit not specifically a open negotiation (which, on the podcast, she stated she didn't approve of).
My guess is the exceptional degree of publicity that entertainment strikes specifically get might have something to do with the WGA's strategy of keeping things out of the press until there's actual movement, though I tend to agree with Jane as well.
The privilege it is to even ask this question is extremely telling. I don't mean that as a slight to OP, but it is worth noting that we are in a place where, for a non-insignificant amount of people, this isn't even remotely a possibility because one group has made their existence criminal.
Exactly. Kind in the micro, monsters in the macro. If you're trying to raise money for the needy through the church but don't want the government to help them at scale you really just want glory for your god and safety just for your community over other communities. Helping people is just an accident in pursuit of those causes.
The master's tools will never dismantle the master's house.
Twitter, Tesla, and Space X because there's absolutely no chance I could do worse.
I actually came here to say it USED to be D&D, but now it seems like every time I bring it up it's followed by a full conversation about either them playing as well, them wanting to play, or questions they've always had about the game. It's a stark difference from what it was just 5 or so years ago.
