Penn Jillette is No Longer A Libertarian
  • also the vast majority of dems did the same thing, we just don’t feel the need to tell everyone how different we are because of it

^ Translation: "I am too clueless to figure out that this thread is a conversation about Libertarians, and thus discussing Libertarians and Libertarianism is totally appropriate and on-topic."

By the way, Pumpkin... Who died and made you in charge of what I talk about on the internet with others? Just curious.

  • Penn Jillette is No Longer A Libertarian
  • Wrong. I simply don't like having someone who doesn't even know me try to correct me about what my own personal beliefs are. It's rude.

That's like me telling you, "Well, you must obviously be a Mormon, since you believe murder is wrong and Mormons believe that too. I don't care if you say you aren't an Mormon. You actually are a Mormon, and the only reason you'd deny being a Mormon is because you just don't like having your beliefs challenged."

See how condescending that sounds? If you want to "challenge my beliefs", be polite while doing so.

  • Wording matters. We should want people to listen and join. This has been making the rounds without a great deal of backlash.
  • Name a single made up slur that I’ve complained about.

You're complaining about 'slurs' right now, LMAO.

If you honestly believe that the only way to win elections is to shut up and not have an opinion

You can voice an opinion without being insufferable and annoying.

    Hope this helps!

  • Nah I’m going to keep hating Nazis

Yes, I agree, this is a good thing, and probably one of the few things we agree on, fuck actual Nazis.

Blaming me for hating people that hated me first is the type of logic only a rightiod could believe in.

Nope! I'm blaming you for assuming that everyone to the right of Stalin hates you, and that false assumption ended up driving away people who didn't hate you at all.

    Hope this helps!

  • And all of that could have been avoided if you just won the damn election in November.

But no, you'd prefer to wag your finger at voters and chastise them over silly non-issues that aren't important, like the words 'idiot' and 'lame' being 'slurs'.

    That's why you lost.

There are much, MUCH more important things you need to spend your time and energy on, other than hating potential voters. Go volunteer in your community. Reach out to local leaders. Do something worthwhile, instead of sniveling and whining about someone using a word you don't like.

    Do better.

  • If you could move anywhere to minimize the impact on you of the worldwide rise of fascism...
  • I'm one of the lucky ones! Because of my service to our great country fighting against those dirty communists, when the bombs fall my family and I will be safe and sound, underground, in one of the local vaults in our area: Vault 108!

  • Penn Jillette is No Longer A Libertarian
  • Is it mansplaining to point out that you don’t agree with a core principle of your claimed ideology?

It is definitely mansplaining when you tell me that I don't actually understand what libertarianism is, I'm not actually a libertarian even if I say I am, and that I need a big, strong man like you to explain all this to silly little old me.
