Just imagining future ads once data collection gets to more insane points. Just imagining AI scanning your facebook page, then pushing clothing ads with pictures of you in the outfits, or the new TV with pictures of it in your house etc...

Honestly maybe we should get ahead of it... like intentionally make our facebook accounts showing some cave man living in a cave, and in 2 years when the advertisers start going stupid crazy... watch ads show up on it depicting a flat screen TV in a cave.

I mean didn't we? I mean FDR was basically that IMO. In fact I gotta admit he had some of the flaws of left wing populism... hence the internment camps etc... But on the whole his new deal politics drove the country so far, and doing them was so successful they had to invent term limits.

You know what to top it off... we'll build a wall on their citizenship paperwork. and we'll build a fabulous ballroom in their houses!

Sorry my buds and I made a bet to take trumps already terrible ideas, and use them in contexts that don't even give an air of making sense.

Worse, if you are a trump supporter, with a large platform, or a lot of money. Trump sure as hell ain't pulling strings for the people that attend his rallys. Hell didn't biden call the family of the firefighter that took the bullet meant for trump, before trump did, and didn't trump basically spend 10 seconds talking about the guy and made a really tasteless joke during his comment on him.

Well agreed in the core concept, but the reality is simply put... the network infrastructure isn't cheap. Especially factoring in things like the fact that while doordash pays it's drivers crap... Gouges the hell out of the restraunts deeply cutting into their pockets, It's still losing money hand over fist itself.

Except generally speaking... those far right small government types are actually very concerned with increasing the number of people of their own race... hence why abortion, birth control etc... are what they fight against.

They just dont' care about feeding or keeping those people comfortable, they want them toiling away for scraps.

That's indeed such a big issue... fact is the trash problems of our cheap wrappers etc... were so huge... what prevented regulation. The endless spree of ads saying "You terrible people, stop throwing your trash on the ground".

Also former fundie... and yeah there was a popular teenage book series when I was growing up. I think it was called "the forbidden doors". And yeah basically a long series that basically fell into the same pattern over and over, and yeah in short, basically it's "no that house isn't haunted, it's a demon, we need to get right with god and cast it out"... "No that isn't an alien it's a demon, we need to get right with god and cast it out". etc...

But aliens and spirits are enemies in dandadan. Spirits are what keep aliens from invading.

While I'm far from an expert on it... at best the dream simulations are still, extremely rudimentary. To the point that's usually how you can tell it isn't real by doing something like reading a book. IE it's largely believable, but only because you are put in a gullible state. Like watching 2 year old AI videos, while stoned.

I mean there's that... but there's also the fact that nobody has been stupid enough to break the seal on the Mutually Assured Destruction nuclear issue. Report after report shows trump is really really anxious to find a reason to use a nuke.

Gotta say though, surely they didn't need to pick the "Rothchilds are using space lasers to start wildfires" and "Yes they can control the weather" person to be their "voice of sanity".

IMO the learning curve for caddy is almost non existent, and just about anything you might want to selfhost almost certainly has a quick simple caddy configuration you can copy paste with just updating the relevant domain. Personally learning curve for caddy was probably way lower than figuring out the edge cases of apache that I was using before

Same concept with blue states... those states may not have had a majority that voted for trump... but the nation as a whole did. (caveats of course for all forms of voting shenanigans, disqualified votes and any possible fuckery with the election itself).

is indeed samsung that did this.

Now you see, that's the problem there... they were claiming to do X, but were actually doing Y.

Just as lets say if we did have AI person removal... but you said "actually lets you see what's behind the person that would obviously be a problem, as obviously that's actually impossible.

Likewise you hear space zoom... you have to point the camera at the moon... you assume that the camera is capturing the moon, and the image you are looking at is the moon in real time. Obviously not likely to happen but imagine for a second while you were looking at the moon through your camera, and say a meteor hit the moon leading to an enormous explosion and crater that would be visible through a telescope, or hell maybe something extreme enough that it's at least partially visible even to the naked eye. The feature as described would let you see it enhanced in more detail than you could with the naked eye, while in reality it would replace the abnormalities and give you a picture of how the moon looks in it's training data.

Side note, conservatives have almost supernatural timing with regards to these things... Remember when Rick Perry cut the texas fire departments, right before the historic texas fires broke out... and in the trump admin those instant flash floods that whiped out the kids camps right after the weather budget got slashed.

Well yes or nazi's, but for the most part having a stance on Nazi-ism wasn't a driving factor for many to purchase EV's. People bought EV's specifically because that's one of the main advantages of an EV, is they were expected to be better for the environment.

Why I point that out in the nothing phone. It's selling point was the glyphs that let you roughly know what messages were coming in on your phone while it is face down. So in short you could set your phone down and know if your wife was texting you with an emergency, while not hearing a ping and turning away from your friends to see that you have enough energy for candy-crush. IE literally the exact opposite of facebooks marketing

which you know is literally the opposite of facebooks marketing plan.
