If I can shill for a moment. Modding-openmw.com has a great selection of curated mod lists with a very easy automated installer. Sounds like you might enjoy the "Total Overhaul" list, which keeps things lore friendly, while still adding UI/UX improvements, new content, and tasteful expansions, at least imho. Turns what could be hours of work into very minimal setup time and an easy process.
Sure, you don't get to curate every mod yourself, but I have found the trade off to be worth it depending on the mood I'm in.
Very normal. Pretty much everyone I know collects these little holes in their heart from important connections that for one reason or another are no longer around. Just the way of things. Hurts when the wind blows through though.
But while it's very normal, it's good to remind yourself that all things are temporary, and that being able to form connections is a gift to be cherished. I'm glad you had someone to be there for you, and I hope things are going well for both of you.
Been looking at Niri, seems really cool. And I greatly appreciate the level of comments in their config files. Can't be sure I'll like the "scrolling wm" style, but only one way to find out! Thanks for the rec!
Sooo... I guess I was outta the loop pretty hard. I just spun up Omarchy on account of all the hype surrounding it, and had just enough time with it to fall in love with the workflow before stumbling on this post.
So does anyone have a recommendation for a good tiling window manager that isn't created by racists, transphobes, mysogonists, or any other kind of bigots? Or is this just a... time to run back to base Arch with KDE sorta day?
Edit: And if you are going to inform me that Arch or KDE is run by or support bigots... can you wait until the weekend? Please?
I can just imagine it now. Me, in my little hard hat, on a big ol excavator, paying no mind to the ROPS/FOPS overhead, completely safe from all the debris that wants nothing more than to crack open my noggin, excavating to my hearts content!
