Those who tried Linux and went back to Windows, what caused you to go back to Windows?
  • My main issue was trying to get two monitors to work. I followed some guides on how to update the drivers and each time it broke to the point that it would only be a black screen. Not even a terminal to help troubleshoot.

I have a 3080 12GB and can't use it on Linux. After about a week of trying I gave up.

  • Netflix...
  • I believe the movies/shows use every tag available to be shown in more categories. Even if it's not really related to the tag.

I want companies to start enforcing correct tagging as it's seeping into other media as well.

  • Are you replacing Reddit with Lenny?
  • I dipped out when I heard about the protests last month. I've noticed reddit getting worse and worse and this is what I needed to stop using it.

Occasionally I still have to view reddit posts for troubleshooting/reviews as theres not a site quite like it. Even then, I usually keep the search results to last to make sure no where else has good input.

  • Diablo II and Diablo III are on sale. Are the still worth buying?
  • Quite frankly I prefer D3. The graphics aren't as nice as D4 but it feels more polished. It is more streamlined and it's not open world but that's what Diablo is. It's a dungeon crawler.

The classes are better balanced and the builds are fun and unique.

It may be harder to find groups right now but I mostly played solo and had a blast.

  • Games Are Announced Too Early | Spot On
  • This has started frustrating me. I see a game advertised and add it to my wishlist. I check back on it a year later and it still says coming soon.

I've done a wishlist purge. Anything that says coming soon is instantly removed and any new game I see that doesn't have a release date is now ignored.

  • What would a world without advertising (as we know it) look like?
  • I personally hate advertising. Most companies that advertise are more expensive due to the cost of advertising being built into their prices.

I believe the metrics are made up to make companies think they're making money by spending money on it.
