We still have parts where you can disappear into the woods and just sort of fuck off forever. Alaska has the Remote Recreational Cabin Site program as a replacement for the Homestead Act and there's parts of the state so remote you could essentially do whatever you want and nobody would ever know. Provided "whatever you want" involves freezing in the dark wilderness.
I'm sure some of our other low-density states have similar things going on, and zoning laws vary wildly.
"I'm a Virgo" touches on some of that, including having a character with a power related to rousing speeches who organizes community action.
It's inconsistent, to put it mildly. Spider-Man is generally a working class hero and is also an impressionable kid constantly struggling under the pressure to do good. Sometimes that puts him at odds with NYPD, sometimes he comes out in favor of the Super Registration Act (he flip-flopped later)
That's what happens when a thousand writers contrivute to one canon.
Yeah people misunderstand Trump's business history. It doesn't matter how many casinos he bankrupted, Trump profited. He's a vampire like a private equity firm, leaving a trail of dead husks behind him.
That seems backwards to me, I would absolutely tell my friends if I thought their life choices were harmful.
It can also just be a fun hobby. Old-fashioned soap making is a very approachable historical craft. (Modern soap making is also very approachable if you're comfortable handling lye)
I'm really hoping to stay where I am. I'd rather try to integrate with the Coast Salish people than 14th century Christians.
Crude soap is easy to make. Wood ash + water + fat. From there you just fiddle with ratios and timing while trying not to burn your skin off with strong alkalinity.
If your argument is that humans can only be "native" to southeast Africa... that's dumb. It might be defensible in an ecological sense but sociologically the word is used differently.
Middle English is understandable. It's tricky and there are lots of unexpected differences but you'd get used to it. This is right at the edge of Early Modern English and the Great Vowel Shift.
American here: governments have never cared about signed treaties with natives. But your heart's in the right place.
Weed has never once made me feel creative. Slight euphoria, sluggishness, loss of short-term memory, and if I get too high intensely and uncomfortably aware of sensory input so I have to go lay down in the dark and try not to think about the weight of my skin. I don't get any of the fun brain stuff people talk about.
And they're reluctant to sell it to you unless you're obviously sick. I don't want to go to the store when I'm sick, I want to prepare ahead of time so I can stay home and rest!
The day I can't avoid advertisements is the day I drop the service. You want my money? Provide a product that isn't trying to wring me and my data dry.
Video is expensive to host, I get that. I'd happily give a few bucks a month (which is way more than my ad views would be worth) but their asking price is laughable.
I don't know why anyone would willingly default to the algorithm, I set my bookmark direct to the subscription page.
Andrew Johnson.
Point being, if he cared then effort could have been made to account for all of that.
KAJ has been consistently based for a very long time.
He was medicated in 2005 (and correct, Bush didn't get nearly enough blowback for the disastrous Hurricane Katrina "recovery")
Often by an instance or history of abuse and lacking the tools to cope in a healthy manner, so they protect themselves in hate.
