  • Yep, and it all adds up to we can't really say one way or the other based on vague memelord statements which may or may not actually be real anyway. After it's become increasingly clear that Luigi is quite likely a patsy who had stuff planted on him, I have a hard time trusting that this is really the guy anyway or trusting any statements the media makes on him until we know more through things like court discovery.

  • That's like saying "Christians are actually Jewish though. Just because some other Jews don't want them in their club doesn't make their flavor of worship less valid."

They literally have their own holy books that don't exist for other flavors of Christianity, just as Christianity has their own holy books that don't exist for Judaism.

  • It's arguable that many of them are so conservative that they hate the Republicans for not being far enough extreme right.

  • I can't make anything of it because some Mormons are more extreme right wing than the Republican party, and there's a possibility he was attacking from that angle.

  • There is also some evidence that Bella Ciao was being used as an inside joke style meme by the Nick Fuentes-related groypers.

    Once again, inconclusive.

  • That's a Helldivers 2 reference actually, because right after that quote is a code for a bomb drop from the game.

Helldivers 2 is a Starship Troopers style universe where clearly you work for the bad guys and the bad guys call their enemies fascists.

So it's not clearly anti-fascist as much as it is internet edgelord.

  • Well since there was an engraved bullet that said "if you read this you're gay LMAO" it means he had to have read it at some point while engraving it ergo he is gay. /s

  • The fascist thing on the bullets is a direct reference to Helldivers 2 which is a canonically Starship Troopers (the movie) style universe where the fascists who run Super Earth refer to themselves as a democracy while calling their enemies fascist.

This one could go either way, honestly.

  • Yeah this is almost always the answer when people claim so and so made a political donation when they have a common name. It isn't good enough proof at all.

  • Not Christian, Mormon which is actually quite the distinction here.

And just because he was raised Mormon does not mean he still follows the faith of his parents.

Evidence he was strictly conservative is slim. There is good commentary about this over on (slight retch) reddit in /r/exmormon including the violent aspects of Mormon scripture and how many Mormons hate both Democrats and Republicans.

  • He's always been handsome in that pretty-boy way.

  • I actually quite enjoyed Dread for what it was, imperfect as it may be.

  • I'm skeptical as well but they already restarted the game once when the original development team wasn't producing a quality game. I suspect at worst it won't be the worst game ever but it would be subpar for a Metroid game. Nintendo is usually pretty good at taking chances and making it work. Hell, I never thought Metroid could work in 3D and they proved me wrong. I guess my main issue is that Metroid traditionally is a cramped corridor style game, the opposite of an open world.

  • Sulu singing inside his own head: "happiness is a warm gun"

  • Well clearly the only solution here is for Clancy Brown to slice off Cavill's head and take over the leading role.

  • Is this the thread where we share our plushies? Say hello to my friend Mr. Frog.
