Fair enough. This game is mostly pve for the first 50 hours or so depending on which direction you decide to progress in which hasn't been toxic at all in my experience so far.
Most people ignore you. I met one guy though very early in the game who helped me get around faster before I got my first vehicle and also taught me some other things.
Id personally enjoy it far less if that was the case. I just enjoy sharing a huge world with other players I guess
Dark souls 1 had fast travel too but not to every bonfire and you had to reach a certain point in the game to unlock it
Demons souls had fast travel too technically but only between the hub and the start of each area (iirc)

To be fair to the new owners the previous ones never mentioned the lifetime subscriptions existed and they were sinking the company. Probably the reason the original owners sold in the first place.
I don't think anyone's ever said Linux is user friendly for non technical people. Atleast not earnestly or without hard coping

Not quite as useful as it initially sounds. It was a visual basic binary, which is just net framework. You've been able to easily decompile that for decades already. The article also hints that native binaries do not work as well either.

Yep! Although not as much but it's the game that introduced me to the series. I have fond memories of the game but sadly it's aged quite a bit, the jank is very noticeable compared to the newer games.
