  • I just want to point something out since it hasn't been said.

When it's so hot that your body is shutting down, you've already been well past the point of being able to think straight and make critical judgements.

Obesity aside, many people would fail to seek help not realizing they're in a life of death situation to begin with. You're so hot you must find yourself sitting or lying down unable to do jack shit. Need thing you know you're dying of heat stroke. And sadly, we're going to see this more and more as climate change kills more people.

  • I'm having many thoughts!

  • I've seen some that have a bot that goes along a rail and cleans the panels. The bot itself with it's own solar panel.

  • They're actually smart about their locations. Almost always off a freeway. Say what you want about the food but when you're traveling and the alternatives are truck stops and gas stations, seeing that cracker barrel sign is a godsend!

  • I second smbsync2 for phone backup. It's very customizable and once setup, just works.

I also use syncthing but only for syncing files I want to be the same on all devices. FreeTube watch history and subscriptions, stuff like that.

  • I need to do this. But I'm in america without insurance so I guess I'll just wait to die.

  • If it makes you feel any better, the only thing outside of the city and strip is poverty and sorrow. You're not missing anything.

  • Something as simple as a slide out menu needs JavaScript and couldn't really be done server side.

I'm not trying to tell anyone how to design their webpages. I'm also a bit old fashioned. But I stopped making animated gimmicks many years ago. When someone is viewing such things on a small screen, in landscape mode, it's going to be a shit user experience at best. That's just my 2 cents from personal experience.

I'm sure there are examples of where js is necessary. It certainly has it's place. I just feel like it's over used. Now if you're at the mercy of someone else that demands x y and z, then I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

  • Learn everything you can about ADHD. Figure out what traits be has doesn't have.

Most importantly, discuss these things with him! Don't let him grow up confused and having to figure all this out on his own. Don't assume the school(s) will explain anything.

  • I would argue that a lot it scripting can and should be done server side.

  • They'll just ignore this and continue doing what they've been doing.

  • For me, it's because they're cool with travelers staying a night, and the food is good enough.

  • I'ma keep sitting here till we're on part tree or foúr. Y'aII keep doing what you're doing, I'll wait.

  • I'm in the same boat. Being someone's entire universe is horrible. From now on I require a partner to be passionate about at least two hobbies and have some damn friends!

As for OP, poly/open relationships are a thing.

  • Maybe if trans people weren't constantly treated like garbage they wouldn't lose their freakin minds and/or delete themselves.

  • I wouldn't get your hopes up. They're likely still going to be killed. It will just be somewhere else.

  • I don't trust Microsoft not to flip that switch back when I'm not looking.
