The issue with your statement is I don't listen to or follow political sides. I just make my own decernments based on what I experience. Most political statements via the news or social media are propaganda for both sides so you have to parse the information to find the truth and I am not waisting my time on that. I base what I say on my experiences and interactions with the people of each party. Republicans have their issues and so do Democrats.
You are exactly the person I described in my earlier writing. Unable to listen and learn because you are stuck in your thinking and unable to see outside your box. I hope the irony isn't lost on you. My family growing up was Republican and I was Democrat when I got older but ultimately noticed they were both very flawed and decided to become centrist and unaffiliated for voting.
People who are "intelligent" about the issues fall in the same boat as you. Unable to see past their own hubris and Holier Than Thou thinking to see that they have fallen for their parties propaganda to see that they have been indoctrinated just like Republicans have. Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin.
You and the guy you replied to worded it so well. I am a moderate and an unaffiliated voter so noticing the extremes is easy. Their alignments are similar but their tactics are different. The right knows how to talk to the working class which is their strength. Anytime I have voiced criticism about the extremist left there is no conversation or willingness to learn, just demeaning redoric. Mainly how stupid I am or how I should kill myself. I don't blame them as I was once very liberal myself but noticed the fallicies and became more moderate as I got older. Their inability to humble themselves or try to understand someone else's thinking prevents them from really bringing anyone over to their side. It's a "Holier Than Thou" complex that makes them believe they are better than everyone, know better than everyone, and those who oppose them are inheritly evil. Unfortunately this is not how you recruit allies and not how the world work in general.
I would usually agree but there was no barriers I am not sure about signage. While I think the driver should always be aware of where they are driving they honestly set him up for failure. On top of that Google had a decade to fix the route and didn't.
If there was signage, that at a minimum would make it his fault.
Just as communism has been proven to fail in the past so is capitalism. It has been warped to something terrible for the common worker. I think this communism thing is just a way for people to vent their frustrations with the current system. Honestly as long as their is a corruptible person in charge no system will work as intended. And unfortunately everyone is corruptible.
When I was a teen and early 20s I had such high hopes for the future. Now I have just kind of accepted the downfall of our nation when it comes to national politics. I limit my gaze to state and local politics since I can actually have a say in those. Honestly due to that limitation my mental health has become far better compared to when I was lamenting our politics.
I am pretty sure it is just showing politically charged content based on people watching other politically charged content. I feel the blame is misdirected at something that only provides content people will like based on their past.
I am not from the UK but I would think that both genders having support would have been a obvious move. Each has their hurdles and as a society which is created to support the people in it should support both. Equality in its truest sense.
I mean, I still have to make sure my driver's are up to date because Windows doesn't always have the latest version available in WSUS. I honestly would be on Ubuntu right now if I didn't play so many games.
I've seen a UFO while I was truck driving. Most amazing thing I have seen to date.
Edit: On the night of the Dec 11th 2020 at 9:30ish I had stopped for the night to sleep whiledriving towards Colorado on I25 in New Mexico. I had stopped at a truck parking area maybe 10 miles away from Old Sunshine gas station and parking area. I was gazing at the stars and milkyway and enjoying the lack of light pollution when I witnessed it. Where the sky had previously been black and full of stars a blue light appeared for 10 or so seconds and then shot directly upward in an ice blue streak. At first I didn't think anything of it until it moved incredibly fast straight up. It was instantaneous. I used to be ing the Air Force so I have seen all kinds of Arial vehicles. Never seen anything like this.
