Does anyone know if there's a way to identify nearby unionized stores? I'd like to only go to my unionized Starbucks or unionized Trader Joe's, if there's any of those close to me.
That's not super true. We've been friends with various Middle Eastern countries over the decades, including Iran (especially during the reign of the Shah), Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. We've worked with all of them.
That was one of the things that excited me most about the fediverse was seeing the possibility of things like a pathfinder instance, with a bunch of related communities in one place that can also interact with the rest of the fediverse. I wonder what happened. Too bad we can't contact the admins.
To me, it feels like old Reddit, so it's very comfortable despite all the differences and initial growing pains picking an instance. Like finding an old friend and meeting up with them for lunch after many years.
This makes me want to give humans something besides the boring "generalist" abilities, like +1 to all skills or bonus feat thing in my setting, but I don't know what lol
True story. When the colonists showed up in the New World, you think the natives would've all banded together against the "alien" threat, but instead the invaders were often able to leverage historic fueds and tribal animosities to get the different groups to help fight each other. I at least know this happened in some instances in South America and Africa.
It's so obvious it's like 50% bots now 😭. A couple smaller niche subs are still good, i like the DnD 4e sub and Meet Your Maker subs for example, but it's not worth going through Reddit to get there. Wish we could switch all those communities over here but it's hard.
I feel like I did it before, but can't remember how I did it lol. I am using Sync now so I wonder if it's something I did with one of my other apps, like Jerboa or Voyager.
Lucky! Mine is too far for convenience, which is the whole point of Starbucks coffee.
