  • What do you mean they download it for you?

It's not a matter of lazyness, there are quite a few work rounds described even under this post. It's a matter of principle. The harder companies make it to watch it's content without a user, the less I'm going to use it. Not jump through hoops to still watch it's content. Social media has become a cancer and should be avoided like the disease it is. It should be treated with utter contempt.

Remain strong to your stance. All my friends know theres no point to send any videos as most no longer work without an app and are complete eyesore to watch in browser mode and i absolutely refuse to defile my phone with tiktok. So if they actually want to show me a good video, they have to physically come to me and show it from their phone. That kinda guarantees that the video is good enough.

  • Or just don't use those at all. Most of it is not worth the trouble and TikTok should be avoided anyway.

  • There are better places for that with wider selection.

  • Oh yeah, that observation and kinda stepping aside from those thoughts has helped me as well and forced mindfulness meditation type of an activity has been rather beneficial in allowing me to sort of step aside and observe it.I cant yet trace back to the true origin of why some of those thought patterns happen to completely fix those, but observing, "journaling" and determining whatever those are rooted in actual reality and how detrimental those are to daily functioning is enough to stop those from spiraling out of control and to dissipated those.

  • That's a nice one as well. How's that? Any hidden issues? As the ads on my Blackview will most definitely make me avoid that brand in the future, but the overall style of the phone is rather good.Ulefones do seem to fall under the same design.

  • HISSSSSS

  • Yeah fixed working hours are better, did a year of rotating between just 2 shifts and even that was better than rotating between 3 shits.

My circadian rhythm is a myth. Most people quit within few years due to some health related issues and those who have managed to handle it longer just become alcoholics to mask health issues.

  • HISSSSSS

  • Working rotating shifts and seeing and being both in just the space of a few weeks is a new level of misery.

  • HISSSSSS

  • But there's the issue. Don't readjust, embrace it, become the nightwalker. Sunlight is overated and burns us anyway, hisss

  • Blackview BL9000.

It's a huge cellular brick, weighing 400+g, 2cm thick, chunky boy with protective case. Doubles as a self defense device and will remain functional afterwards. Reignited my love for big and heavy things.

Normal phones are ruined forever for me now. Going from my phone to a normal one my wife has is like going from a normal phone to a credit card and pretending it's a phone.

It was rather cheap, solid hardware, most people complain about the bad camera, but i find it completely sufficient.

Main issue over software came later, about a year in they did a software update during which they started to send ads under system messages. Cant turn it off either, though at least i can turn it to once a day and silent, though they have increased it to 3in1 by now and just found out that it saved a preview picture of the ad to the devices temporary folder. Not much of a space issues, though annoying as those did came up when searching for pictures.

  • Rule seater

  • Fine, ill wear the other one.

  • I have a more scientific or common name for it now. Thank you.

So how do you try to combat or lessen the impact of it?

  • Noup, i get the opposite. 6 hours of beating myself up, because i didn't do good enough and because i could do it. It wasn't that hard and overanalyzing every detail that didn't go perfectly and what to do to improve it.

  • But at least you're trying to be understanding with it. Yeah it can be rather difficult to imagine pretty much opposite perspectives. Cant even assure you it ever becomes automatic, just need to constantly remind yourself the other person cognitive functioning.

  • Another one!

  • Yeah, opt-out option was meant more for older people or for women. As I'm neither i was highly encouraged to opt-in. Though even that was kinda pointless. Most of the time it was instructor explaining and demonstrating and then we could try out few moves, once, with a co-operating opponent, who did half the job of falling down as well.

  • Oh yeah. That's object permanence issue. Might get better over time, but yeah can go hand in hand with ADHD.

  • Another one!

  • Can confirm, worked as a security in my early 20s. Training was minimal and they didn't pay me enough to care or even stay awake oftentimes. Training consisted of few hours of legal side and just an hour of grappling, which was optional.

Most of the work is done through camers, so if one is fast enough. They can get away with whatever they chose to take.

This one time i got sent to some fancier store on a day someone chose to take a fancy bottle of wine, nearly 1000€. He got away with it as well. He asked clerk to see it and as soon as the clerk handed him the bottle. He ran for it and by the time security could react. We just saw his back in the distance running away.

  • Yeah, i wouldn't really mind a solo mission to Saturn. Hardest part would be that the things i usually need to do back at home would be left undone(in my mind) so id need to split myself down the middle so that one half can go to Saturn and other stays behind to take care of the basic chores.

How old is the kid? As it might be completely normal for a small child to want closeness and be around caregivers, while from our perspective it might be too much.Like my wife is the same, as she grew up with 4 siblings. Her need for closeness is rather high and she almost can't handle being alone. While it might be slightly higher need than on average, from my perspective it's oftentimes kinda overwhelming.
