I do agree with your core idea and yeah we should work towards it, but in the meanwhile we cant ignore current reality either. It will take generations to unroot car centric worldview towards public transport and more people centric worldview and building said infrastructure takes time as well.
In the meanwhile there are people who ignore rules for their own benefit or just not caring and threat of an imminent punishment does reduce the amount of rule breaking until we can get to the society where the punishment is no longer necessary. Yes it's not perfect, it's just a patchwork solution and the efficacy of it can be questionable.
Like the current subject of full on surveillance camera is probably one of the worst and most exploitative ways to get the desired results, but at the same time. It can be rapidly implemented and will scare some people into more careful driving even if just around the bus.
Though i assume there probably are some less invasive methods that can be rapidly implemented and will have a similar results, if even necessary at all as i don't have the data regarding how regular this occurance is.
And that's very good, but an automated system and video evidence is still better. It eliminates the unreliability of human memory and perception. While any false positives could be easily dealt with case by case basis as the video evidence can be used by both sides.
Though yeah whatever it's actually necessary or current system is already good enough is up for a debate.
The core idea is good. A law that isn't enforced is just a recommendation. There will be plenty of people who will just ignore it. Not unique to car drives, there are pretty much the same amount of people ignoring traffic laws with every transportation method, just when the size of the transportation method increases, so does the damage it can cause.
It would be kinda unfeasible for the bus driver to start writing down each cars license plate that passes by it when the bus has stopped.
So similarly to speeding cameras which do lower the speed of cars within it's area of influence. A bus will carry around an area of influence inside which drivers are more inclined to follow the law.
Of course reality is that the system will be abused and badly implemented.
Yes, it's a peaceful life.
It sucks when i finally can sit down in the evening and start up a game and then getting insta killed by teenager who has nothing to than practice all day.
Or team based PvE games where it's just trying to keep up with the speedrunners farming.
In addition getting 30 min of uninterrupted time can be a luxury, so pause feature is a must have.
I do go for the jack of all trades approach. So I'm not great at anything, but I'm good enough in most things.
My endurance might be above avarage, really useful for resistance training, giving me higher than avarage work capacity and recovery ability and can maintain it with a decent consistency.
Yeah i know that's not exactly bragging, but I'm trying my best.
That one is actually even better. The other one was in foreign language so i couldn't understand the explanations of why some pictures were AI.
Though it does have the same problem. There are only 2 options, so it's possible to get 50% right by just randomly choosing.
I could probably guess 3/10 pictures because those had untypically blurry background, but eventually got 6/10 correct. Though the blurry effect can be achieved in photography as well.
So it was just guessing and figuring out the pattern for those pictures.
Though you're not the first person to refer to it as a sort of a gut feeling. There was some thread few weeks ago where someone posted a link to a simple test where there were 20 random pictures and had to detect which ones were AI which ones were real. Most people did say that it was similarly a gut feeling. That gives me an idea and a direction to search.
I'm sorry, i genuinely can't see it. Just for clarification I'm not simping/defending AI. It's just something that has genuinely baffled me since AI pictures started to surface. It was easier in the beginning to find anomalies to determine the origin of the picture, but nowadays those have disappeared as well.
The few examples i can recognize are of converted memes. I assume those are generated by ai, but thats just because i have the knowledge of the original version of those and guessing that not many would want to manually repaint those. The link contains AI term, but this information should be excluded as it's not visible on a picture. The color scheme is different as well, but at the same time people can use some specific art style with a different color scheme too.Cant really find any anomalies either.
I doubt that this is what you mean when trying to see the difference?
Based on just the picture i can't tell.
Even human made pictures often have nothing discernable behind those, text or at least video is needed to say what's behind it.Of course i can use imagination to add any story i want to a picture, but that would be just making stuff up and I'd always have the knowledge that it was made up and it could be done exactly the same way for both human and machine made pictures.
Though i do appreciate the attempt. Thank you, i guess i just miss something that helps most people see the difference.
Not complaining, but they did have a point regarding that post. It was more ADHD than ASD and there is actually an ADHD instance as well.
Though nothing against LadyButterfly, shes doing a great job and hopefully she just ignores it. She seems to one of the handful of people keeping this community alive.
You as well OP, keep it up.
As for the posting part.
It's better if I won't post anything here. I'm incapable of posting wholesome or positive things and would bring the whole mood down. My perspective is just too corrupted and obsessed for postive or general content.
But how?Without the background knowledge that the picture/painting is made by a human and what that person was trying to convey. There is no discernable difference between AI generated picture(without anomalies) and a human made one. Though even machine pictures with anomalies can be indistinguishable from pictures made by humans in the style of surrealism.
Soul isn't visible on a picture? Am i missing an extra organ or part of the brain that makes others see that soul?
What even is this soul thing people keep talking about? How can they see something thats invisible?
How come generated pictures lack it while the data set used supposedly had a soul?
Of course depending on a defensive war, but often times you're not fighting for the state, but your loved ones. Like on a smaller scale nearly everyone would defend the people close to them from harm, for example trying to stop a rapist from abusing your wife/sister/daughter of course not limited to women. Rape can be used against men as well.
In a defensive war the goal of states sovereignty and you defending your loved ones can align.
Fair, my bad. I misunderstood. i did interpet it as downloading the app to your phone, as i wasn't aware that those videos could obviously be downloaded as well.
