Edit: to expand on the idea: Hairy Potter is a spin-off where the protagonist is played by Ron Perlman. All the other students are regular kids. Nobody ever raises the subject.

I said I spoke in general not about one specific end of the gender binary so I don't understand why we're restricting the subject to men.
It's sad being angry that other people supposedly don't struggle as much as you do/did.
Why not simply rejoice that they don't have it as hard?

There are two options imho:
- They're so far up in their own media bubble that they don't believe it's true.
- They don't care about it. Or at least not enough compared to the advantages of having said person in positions of power.

As long as they're not punt kicking kitten or dropkicking old folks, hobbies are pretty much irrelevant imho.
My bf is really hot when he prints stuff for me tho.
Hitting the gym can't hurt but it's very low on my list of priorities.
Being chill, open with one's emotions, able to communicate reasonably, willing to help around etc are way higher.
Usually being a woman helps too but life's life.
Last one is what a very famous Marcus Tullius was called by his bf.
