  • (The real disgusting things at places like this are the human-habitrails / child tubes. Those are almost impossible to sanitize by dint of adults not fitting comfortably, and can't be taken apart to make it easier. Seriously, stay OUT of those things.)

Well there’s a niche job for small people.

  • I finished up Martha Wells - Star Wars “Razors Edge” and have moved on to Isaac Asimovs “The End of Eternity” it’s my last scifi book of his that’s related to his broader Foundations universe.

Although the three stand alone scifi novels were eventually alluded to in the Foundation universe. It’s not really related though. Just a passing reference to a bygone time.

  • I guess, but arguably you would only hit one in the day, and the chances of it being during rush hour is slim, can always plan better around that stuff too. Or take secondary highways. There’s not only a single highway going places.

  • Words evolve, it’s meaning has been the same has shocked for a couple decades now. Supposed to be severely injured at least, but again, words evolve still.

Don’t get in the way of progress by being pedantic and stubborn, it only makes you look foolish for not accepting change.

to kill or severely injure by electric shock

Well that ends my not very productive garden season! Last frost May 22, first Oct 3.

  • Do most cities not have bypasses? In Canada even most small towns have a bypass so you avoid the traffic lights.

It’s mostly for the semi traffic, the stopping and stopping ruins the roads, so they have a highway going around town to avoid that.

  • What? It takes 24 hours to drive from the Canadian border to Mexico border. Texas is about 770 miles at its widest, that’s a breezy 10-12 hour drive doing the speed limit or just over.

  • *in the USA

Other countries exist with that mechanism and have had successful impeachments.

It’s more that one side of the fence has so many more times that’s it’s been able to happen. How many leaders in impeachable countries have their been vs countries with a non-confidence vote instead?

Could just be different scales here.
