Quick. Someone invent an AI that can block out the orange man’s face everywhere so we don’t have to subject ourselves to it for 4 more years.

And maybe an audio translator that makes him sound like a normal human being…or a high pitched voice that makes you giggle when you hear it.

Woke up at 3am to this.
  • I’m pretty sure your kitty is the reincarnation of my tortie who we lost in January. She looks almost identical. If this is the case, you’re going to love her. She was sassy, but such a loving cat. ❤️

  • Advice
  • Label every seedling. Every single one. I learned the hard way when I accidentally planted mint in my flower garden that completely took over and took many attempts to get rid of.

  • First human brain implant malfunctioned, Neuralink says
  • I cannot speak to any of these, however, I learned that that you should just ask. If you can’t ask, put the “human” first such as people with disabilities or people who are deaf, blind, etc. Latine is another term I’ve heard, but in the community, there are those that like it and those that don’t.

  • How do you know what gift to get someone?
  • To add to what others have said…when you know a little about the person/their likes or dislikes, ChatGPT can be a good starting point. Don’t provide any personal info, but ask if for gift ideas based on the criteria for that person. It might just spark an idea you wouldn’t have thought of. :)

  • What is a gender neutral replacement for man, guys, buddy, etc?
  • It depends on who you’re talking to. Many people don’t care about saying “guys” as it’s so universal. However, if you’re unsure or meeting new people, that’s where you’d likely want to change it up.

Hey friends! (This can be used for strangers too) What’s happening my peeps? Hello everyone! Hope you both have a good weekend

Or just What’s up? Hiya! Hey [insert their name]

  • Fun venn diagram
  • Can we just start calling it what it is? “Pro-birth” The right doesn’t care what happens to you after that…hence the outside circles…and healthcare, food assistance, shelter, etc.

  • Getting mad at having a headache is your brain getting mad at itself for hurting
  • Kind of depends on the cause of the headache…is it sinus related? If you live in a dry area, your nasal passages may need hydration (netti pot or saline spray or take a hot shower) or it might be adult allergies. Is it tension? If so, try to find the tension and massage it out. Use peppermint oil roller (it cuts the intensity, but likely won’t make it go away). It could also be a good sensitivity that you’ve developed.

If you start I get them frequently or more than normal, keep a log of when you get them and what you did before it and what you ate. Then talk to your doctor. I spent three years trying to find out the cause of my migraines. Journaling can help.

  • Supreme Court tackles Sackler family liability protections in opioid settlement
  • If we were to change the system, that would mean companies like Purdue wouldn’t be able to line the pockets of politicians. So politicians turn a blind eye because non of this has affected them (or maybe it has but their greed is worth more than justice for those affected). Sigh.

  • ‘Pure greed:’ Etiquette expert explains why tipping has gotten out of control
  • I didn’t listen to the interview, but what is the “going rate” for tipping up front (e.g. DoorDash, Instacart, etc)? For DoorDash, I do a custom tip depending on how far away the restaurant is, not based on the cost of the food. I assume that if they don’t like the tip, they wouldn’t take my job over others (could be wrong). But for grocery shopping, I tip higher because they’re doing a lot more. Just curious what others do.
