Ex-navy electrician here. They use a microphone transducer to convert sound pressure from your voice into electric current. They convert it back to sound by a transducer at the receiver node. The Navy still uses it because it doesn't require any outside electricity which is prefect for emergencies.

Fun fact, one of the things we'd do to haze new recruits is to send them to the ICmen to ask for a sound powered telephone battery.

Loved this game when I was a kid, it has a pretty good OST.

I'll start posting more and it was like this when /r/gamemusic was starting. It took a little while to grow.

Ah that sucks. The first part is the roughest and it starts getting really good in the next expansion.

Venus is more promising anyways.

Really enjoyed the last patch, the Trial fight was pretty good and I adored how they wrapped up the Normal raid series for this expansion.
