Looking for some recommendations on tech communities for Lemmy!
2 main issues I have with Threads right now -
- Inability to tailor your feed to just follow your friends. The amount of brand activity in my feed is frankly overwhelming and puts me off using the app completely atm.
- I don’t really see how this is going to be any different to IG in terms of content if it’s NOT going to be a place for breaking news and stories like Twitter was/is. If I’m just going to be served random content the algorithm thinks I like, then why bother having an account at all? Most people just seem to be using it in the same way as IG with pics accompanying a few lines of text.
Lol says the guy who’s buying entire developers and publishers and then making their games exclusive to his platform (starfield) what a load of shit. This whole tit for tat thing between MS and Sony is pathetic.
I did sink about 40 hours into cyberpunk after it’s release and had a good time but honestly the gameplay loop is so repetitive it just starts to feels so pointless after a while. I’ve tried to restart a couple of times since then and just don’t have the motivation.
Title says it all - love the app but unsure how to clear my post notifications? Nothing seems to work.
I got confused because the old app shut down and didn’t realise a new version had been released!
Mlem seems to be offline for the time being so wondering if there are any alternatives for iOS users?
