Yep, you are right. It's on Europeans to mitigate the fallout, and Americans can leave depending on the midterms.

Good that many European countries' public sector orgs are moving towards digital independence.

I'm kind of relieved to see this new measurement because it gives back some credibility to the social sciences/economics.

Anybody who has been in the US cannot miss the abundant poverty, which is unseen and unheard of in Western Europe.

I think they would actually have to train a robot physically to do that. A few lines of code won't work.

The article refers to separatist Russian speaking Estonians, not to Russian nationals.

ADAC members are people who joined the motorist organization, it's not just people driving cars.

If you think that the opinion of the general population does not matter, fine. But the ADAC members still do not represent the general population.

Your Wikipedia reference does not support your claim that there hasn't been a majority for decades. It only lists surveys from the last few years. But that does not mean that there weren't majorities before that.

Nope, it's the power difference that matters. You don't care about a fly, but you care enough about a mouse enough to trap it. A chimpanzee you would be afraid of. Taking the difference between a human and those animals.

This is a fascinating topic because it shows the power of stereotypes. A majority of the general population has supported a general speed limit for decades. But the anti-limit minority is very vocal and has managed to present their preference as a matter of national identity.

And as fellow Europeans we then reinforce such stereotypes about Germans.

Small countries whose position is regarded as irrelevant by the two superpowers.

Better to be selective than outspoken like Spain. While Spain may get free passage by Iran, they may get the bill from the US.

I am not endorsing this by the way. But I would not want the most powerful country in Europe to antagonize the two superpowers US and China.
