Getting the cops to stop hunting down marijuana users is a lot better than nothing. Considering current marijuana laws throughout Europe, this is still a big step in the right direction.

If they really have been working on this for the past 4 years like they say, I wouldn't go as far as to say it will live up to the trailer and hype but it's still a unique idea that hasn't been done to death so unless they sell out or really fuck up, I think it will still be a good game.

If this wasn't an indie game it would have no chance. An AAA studio or publisher would never risk pursuing a new idea like this in the first place though

Unless they put the og bf1 maps into bf2 like that one pc mod does AND also implement splitscreen on the console versions, there will be no point in playing this. A pc version will only be worth playing if it can still load custom maps and only if the multi-player works ok with custom maps like the original which is a hard bar to reach considering even complicated custom maps with lots of hacks work well over lan.

I played the crap out of this as a kid and also as an adult. It's one of the greatest games ever made. It has to at least be better than the original in every way or it's blasphemy.

Let's see if they actually go through with it. And even then, let's see if they do it without pulling a Thailand. "oh shit we accidently did the right thing, can't have that"
