  • I very rarely need a full charge when I get a new phone. Battery rarely drops under 50% unless it's a heavy use day. However, that same phone 3 years later will be causing me issues because the battery doesn't last through the day.

I would happily trade off 20% max battery in the first few years, to get a healthier battery 4 years down the line.

  • Not watched one of these in ages, first reaction was, BEARD!

Would be nice if they could get a European printer, not sure how that would work with signed copies though.

  • Limit it to two, maybe three a day, spread out (one in the morning, one at lunch, one before bed etc.

Otherwise people just get a flood of art and don't look at it, when if there was just one they might have. Lots of people still browse /all for discover ability, but will block communities they see as spamming their feed. I'm subscribed and even thought about blocking you/unsubbing!

  • yeh, those are solutions, I was just explaining how its not automatically better.

Latex documents in git are the best option technically, but good luck getting the average person (or me!) to do that.

  • If I'm logged in I want to never see AI art.

  • I dislike autosaves in word processors/spreadsheets etc and turn them off whenever I can. I prefer to have that control, I have had issues where I have deleted things to rewrite/update them, decide against it and close the app only to find it's overwritten what I had done....

  • Oh, is that search filter account wide? Will take a look when I got home.

Did the no ai art protest on there win then, or were they going for a complete ban?

  • The idea behind them is that they stay on until the bottom of the pan reaches 100C

As this is only possible once the water has boiled away, it will always create perfectly cooked rice (if you put the right amount of water in)

So it.should work for anything you want to stop as soon as it boils dry.

  • Artstation doesn't let you filter out AI art, so there will be AI art alongside human art. There was also some issues about if artstation is allowing AI to be trained on what you upload.

Deviantart had a similar issue, and now have an AI art generator on their site.

Instagram is obviously selling all the data they can about what you do/upload, training AI on it etc.

  • Art station, Instagram and deviantart are all selling data or doing iffy AI stuff as far as I can tell.

  • They wouldn't though, even if 5% of their missiles/nukes work, millions would die.

  • thats a hell of a risk to take though, and he knows no-one can take it

  • For PC, get a usbC pcie card. Lots of choice there. Possible issues with GPU clearance/ heat though.

  • Well, they are not known (recently) for their good overarching stories. I stopped caring about them as they always ruin them (normally by ending expansions 'early')

  • More likely to be Tien, has a green coat wrapped around his waist.

I will defer to you on it not being you. Good point on the age.

  • Kaladin has black hair I think? Second could be Teft? I need to re-read the character descriptions at some point.

No reason Syl can't be in the middle, she was only mini in the first piece.

  • That's when Google's browser DRM thing starts sounding like a good idea 😭

  • but with all of the cloud resources now, you can switch through IP addresses without any trouble. hell, you could just browse by IP6 and not even worry with how cheap those are!

  • Book one ending, the lord ruler has her pinned and is crushing her to death. Mists are preservation spiralling in to give her the boost to push back.
