I hear ASPD people do not experience anxiety. Do you know what it feels like?
Well, if I don't feel it how can I know what it feels like? As someone who is incapable of empathy it's impossible of to understand how things I don't feel feel.
Have you considered suicide due to boredom?
Nothing that extreme. I am more prone to boredom then others so I have done some wild things in the past. Like, when I was younger I had a thing for lightning fires and compulsive lying.
What common emotional traits are most exploitable?
Fear, definitely. You can get someone to do anything if they're scared enough. Anger is a good one also.
Does the activity with the prisoners satisfy the thrill seeking need you have from boredom?
Yes, it's half the reason I got the job. It was a fantasy I had for a long time before hand and I just love dangerous and taboo nature of it.
Not a question, but a comment on your answer about world leaders… It’s surprising that you don’t notice. There are very many antisocial behaviors with world leaders and the very rich. I feel like you will definitely start to notice at some point. There is a lot of gaslighting and manipulation of people based on their anger and prejudice. You’ll see it eventually for sure.
Well, it's nice to have a condition shared by so many successful people.
Yeah, it would give me a lot of insight into those around me.
"Is your life still enjoyable although you experience emotions differently?"
Not really. The thing is with ASPD you get board really quickly and super easily. So I feel like I'm more dependent on thrill and excitement then other people.
"Does it take a lot of practice to be able to manipulate others well?"
Not really. It's just something that's second nature to me.
"Do you view your condition as a true disorder or an advantageous adaptive trait? (There are some convincing scientific data supporting the idea that psychopathy is not a disorder.)"
Both, on one hand empathy can be pretty difficult to live with but on the other ASPD is a very stigmatized thing to have.
"Can you easily recognize psychopathy in world leaders?"
I'm not a therapist so no.
"Do you sincerely care about a person in your life"
No, since I'm incapable of caring or empathizing for anyone else.
Well, there's been lots. I remember this one inmate who was just a very interesting person to talk to. He knew a lot about history and geography and could talk your ears off and early Hollywood. He was a nice guy. Then there was this one inmate who at first seem like a nice, quite old man until I found out he was serving life for murdering seven people. One of which was his own son. I also had another inmate who was one of Anita Cobby's killers. I know another one who was like a GTA character but in real life. I don't want to too much into details but he was a former dirty police officer who was serving time for every crime under the sun. He was well connected to the Australian under world and we would have so many conversations not just about his criminal history but just about his life in general. He died last year. I miss that dude.
I don't, I like talking to people. Having ASPD doesn't mean your anti social in a typical sense it's means your anti social as in you have characteristics which go against societal norms.
