Seeing movies in the theater is overrated and they are far more enjoyable at home.
I’ve never read Punisher comics so I have no idea what is more comic accurate but I feel like Thomas Jane is the better “artistic” and thoughtful portrayal of Punisher while Jon Bernthal is the more action hero portrayal. Both good in their own right but for different reasons.
Not sure how I feel about Ray Stevenson or Dolph Lundgren.
I live in Minnesota with a steep hill to go up to get off our street. My old Elantra had trouble with the steep angle after a plowing and I had to go back and get my wife’s Tucson which did it no problem. I was already considering a new car and that spring we bought a Kona. It’s small, sporty, and has proven to be just as capable as my wife’s Tucson, so for me AWD has been the difference.

At this point it’s a race between whether the US falls apart first or the youth that survive the battlegrounds that are public schools, concerts, malls, public transportation etc. in the US decide they’re tired of being shot and killed and come together to quash the remaining resistance to changing it.

Divorcing and splitting assets equitably would protect what she gets and leave whatever Danny Masterson has open to lawsuits.
I didn’t really know anything about One Piece until I watched the live action show but it was a lot of fun. The biggest thing for me was the scoring. It’s well scored and has the same swashbuckling feel as the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie!
Definitely a lot of fun and worth checking out!

The answer I saw regarding Jon Stewart was in response to the same question comparing Jon and Bill Maher with his recent announcement. That was that Jon Stewart was not a member of the WGA during the last strike and continued without his writers to keep the non-union workers getting a paycheck.
If true, it doesn’t necessarily make it ok, but it also doesn’t hurt that Jon Stewart seems likable and didn’t staunchly defend his decision, in fact indicating it was very much a struggle for him to make it.
We’re in Hy-Vee country and the just ran a special over Labor Day, 80/20 ground beef at $2.99/#. We bought 10 to chuck in the deep freeze which will probably last us at least a year.
Most places where we are charge more for the “faux” meat products. Better to move into meat alternatives or cut it to a meal or 2 a week instead of switching.
I wish it was cheaper for meatless meat products here because we would probably switch almost completely off meat then.

They are, but they work better for me in my specific situation. I don’t really wear sunglasses in the winter. The sun is pretty weak here and I don’t really need them most days. Maybe a handful at most.
I like my Costco sunglasses instead. They have a real light tint by default and then can transition darker based on light level. They’ll even darken behind a car windshield!
This works for me because the tint is light enough out of sunlight that I can see indoors with them on fine
Sober alcoholic here and tonic with a little lemon sour in it on ice is delightful in the hot months!
They are a pain in cold winter weather in Minnesota because most of the ones I’ve had transition back very slowly after having been out in the cold I just switched to prescription sunglasses with tinted transitions instead.
