  • Thats quite the runway. That helps them focus the attention on Wayland specific issues to get it more up to speed with X11.

  • I've noticed Zorin does a lot of marketing and it comes in waves, you won't hear anything for months then it'll be everywhere for a few days.

  • I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed in the price. From what I've read, and watched, its not going to be competitive like the Deck - it'll be more expensive than the current consoles. I just have a feeling people are underestimating it this time around.

  • I remember you could customise your character the same way in the files in GTA 3

  • I really hope it won't be a case of requiring a Steam Machine with SteamOS on there for this to work.

  • Awesome. I really needed this about 5 years ago, but I'm glad they've added it for sure.

  • Ffmpeg is definitely in there too

  • Fuckin AI is everywhere, unbelievable!

  • OK, imagine youre in a new car and youre like hmm donuts are good. But you know that when flight was first discovered it was scary, then after all that scares you knew it was worth while running the distance. Sometimes you gotta know when to fold em.

    • Half-Life 3 is an AI interactive movie with a 3 hour run time.
  • Null is fine if you remember to account for it everywhere.

  • Well, Its not very typical, I'd like to make that point.

  • When I was younger I had a computer where the front fell off and stripped the wires from the button.

To turn it on and off I had to hold the wires together, felt like I was hot wiring a car every time.

  • Dial up only servers were great

  • You can use tools like FernFlower to help turn that bytecode into actual Java.

  • I wrote my own dial up program in Delphi and made it look exactly like the Window 95 dialer. Worked exactly as planned. Ha ha

  • PIC

    Jump
  • The Keeb Lord

  • Basically a bunch of players are dropped into a game map, and normally your objective is to go around and collect as much loot as possible, then after some time or you're ready to leave, you need to find the extraction point - this will save your loot and that run is over.

Some extraction shooters are PvE, and some are PvP, some are both. If you get killed with all your loot before you get to the extraction point you lose it all. It can be pretty stressful, and unbalanced if its PvP where some players play much more then you do therefore have better weapons etc
