What are you talking about? I was responding to someone who said they couldn't afford a house 35 years ago with 40k down. It's only been in the last few years 40k wouldn't be enough and even that is only if you go conventional mortgage instead of one of the other programs.
3% down FHA $40k will purchase you a $1.2 million house.
I've bought two homes with a price tag under 80k - most recently about 15 years ago (and it was a fixer upper to be sure) and sold it for about that 12 years ago. My first house I bought when I was 23. 27 years ago. I don't recall what I put down, but it was under $5k.

I love America. I'm rather less fond of some of the people in it. The land is beautiful and varied. There is so much space here. And the constitution is really special, I think, though not perfect. The biggest flaw is people haven't been taking politics seriously and have elected unserious people.

I had multiple interviews with a company and was told they went so well they stopped interviewing other candidates. The interviews did go quite well. Then they hired internally.

AI coding in a nutshell. It makes the easy stuff easier and the hard stuff harder by leading you down thirty incorrect paths before you toss it and figure it out yourself.
I think there might be a lot of value in describing it to an AI, though. It takes a fair bit of clarity of thought to get something resembling what you actually want. You could use a junior or rubber duck instead, but the rubber duck doesn't make stupid assumptions to demonstrate gaps in your thought process, and a junior takes too long and gets demoralized when you have to constantly revise their instructions and iterate over their work.
Like the output might be garbage, but it might really help you write those stories.
They are venomous but non-lethal unless you have significant health issues already. What a tarantula attack is good at is triggering an involuntary fight or flight response.
