I went to edit the post and fat-finger deleted it. Basically I said I'm not that far from Florida and regional differences are wild. More than that, but I just finished dinner after a brisk walk in not-as-hot but thick-with-humidity-and-mosquitos air and I'm going to be lazy while I enjoy cold water.

The regional differences are wild! I'm not that far from the Florida panhandle, and we do say ”clip," and they most definitely would be in, in most circles, only the ”liberals" and a few others would have safety on, and almost everyone would have one in the chamber. I'm even referencing the more affluent, as well, although in the adjustment gentrified areas, a few not originally from the area or new owners may say "magazine". I wish people would secure their weapons when party favors come out, too many get bright ideas and want to "target practice" when drinking; and I wish I could say it's mostly the younger owners, but I'd be lying if I did. I can say in certain areas, most past 40ish, you won't even know they're carrying, unless it's necessary self defense, but there are plenty of exceptions, of every demographic.
