That's an interesting way of thinking about it. We can have a system that provides opportunities, but it doesn't allow for anyone to be privileged in life. There needs to be some way that allows anyone to have a choice in life, and there needs to be a system that gives everyone the chance to do things they really want to do.

I agree, I think thats the real problem here. I mean, the left wants everyone to be free, but its a lot easier to be oppressed if you dont even have to get an idea of whats best for your own community. If someone doesnt want to put up with someone with a different opinion and say theyre not going to do the right thing, what gives them the right to impose it on others? And how many people does it take to screw up your life? Youre making it easier for all the other minorities in your community to feel left out, because the only group you can really be oppressed are the people who have already lost your fucking mind and have no idea how theyre fucked.

I think its just a political issue for conservatives. They can point to all the people who oppose them because they dont like them but they dont actually understand what theyre saying or how theyre acting.
