  • I think it's better than just opening it up, since you'll be able to breath in the fresh air from the closed throat as it is. You can even let it go for a bit while you work up the courage to try to open it up. It can be a very positive experience.

  • I’m also a bit of a pop, so I’ll use that as a basis to ask for some advice. It seems like I'm in a really bad way. I’m trying to find my voice, but it’s completely impossible. I’m thinking that if I got my voice back, I’d have to have a completely different vocal style, or maybe even just a new song. I know that sounds super crazy but I don’t feel I have any choice but to try.

  • /uj I love all of them. And, in fairness, its the "all of us" bit, where we dont exist in a single group. The reason why so many people seem to be in denial about being trans, in a society where were considered the worst of both worlds and all butchered for it by the majority, is the lack of acceptance for trans people. Its especially hard to be accepted as a "normal person," with an identity that is not defined by either genitalia or behavior. A lot of the other comments seem to be about how, while there is a lot of cis acceptance and that all of us are cis, "everyone knows that the majority of us are just so oppressed and left-wing" (this is an interesting quote), which is not a surprise, because we are all really right-wingers in this country, and so are most of the people who say this. I am a bit sorry that I have to be so blunt.

  • I've also noticed that pop has a lot of stereotypical LGBT stereotypes, so it's kind of like a retro-vibe of what a lot of queer people have been saying to each other since the 1960s, including that if you're not straight, you're just not queer.

  • /uj I don't know what that comment means but it was my coworker and I were talking about ass lifts and I was telling her that we weren't friends, but she asked me whether or not I was talking about my ass lifts. I'm a bit confused so I'm trying to make sure

  • I love that you wrote the above but its not a great idea for this whole "I have a bad case of the flu" thing. Its not even in my daily life at the moment but I guess thats not bad if youre talking about how to fight the flu. Im not sure if this is actually helpful though and Im really confused because of the comments there. But I just saw a comment saying that when she went to her doctor to get diagnosed it was actually the flu that was the problem, which was not helpful at all
