Last Epoch Official Launch Trailer | Echoes from the Void
  • With PoE I sometimes just get bored of facerolling maps and stop playing early, but I think a big part of it for me is that I have no feasible way to farm a particular item I need (playing almost always on SSF). Being able to target farm things sounds good and what I've seen about the crafting also looks promising. I've been thinking of giving Last Epoch a go.

  • Last Epoch Official Launch Trailer | Echoes from the Void
  • I get what you mean, though PoE is a lot about what build you pick. I've been able to clear everything on a couple of leagues on SSF and not playing that much (10 to 20 hours per week). I've been playing for a long ass time though and there's definitely a bunch of leagues I haven't got that for reason or other.

  • Is there a tried and true method to delete a Lemmy account?
  • Do you think you've posted anything that would be worth removing in the first place? Seems pretty unlikely, so could be just a case of deleting your account and moving on. Unless you went around posting stuff that could get you in trouble and left in easy way to connect that to you in other ways, I don't see why it matters.

  • Which is less religious: Xmas or Christmas?
  • Why does it need to be rebellious? Sounds a little childish. Just roll with "happy holidays" or whatever and celebrate and let others celebrate whatever they want. Celebrating at this time of year has nothing to do with Christianity really, it's much older tradition.

  • Condition Overload vs Primed Pressure Point
  • Heavy attack builds would favor pressure point, though chances are these builds use the umbral version with the critical mod instead. Otherwise high critical spam builds that do not have enough status to reliably get the damage out of CO, but I think these are currently a bit of a small niche. I don't think I've used critical spam build since DE changed the combo counter to not affect the base damage. Something like Avalanche Frost could make use of a setup like this, but CO build would probobly pull ahead if you have decent status on the melee.

  • How the math works on 60/60 mods and applying slash statuses
  • Well the elemental stat will skew the distribution more away from slash the higher the status chance is before the dual stat mod is thrown in

If you repeat the calculation with another dual stat or the 80% aptitude mod (or weeping wounds for melee) already on it you'll get a lot different results

The Overframe site or whatever it was called is pretty good for checking out different mod combos. Not sure if it's anywhere close to 100% accurate with how much weird spaghetti nonsense warframe mechanics have, but better than nothing.

  • Metal Gear Solid Getting High Tech Remake
  • I feel like it received the attention it deserved when it was originally released. I'm sure a fresh coat of paint and updating some of the more weird control choices would make it easier to get into for new players, but I have zero interest on remake like that.

  • rule
  • It depends, I don't mind if they make it clear they're the author. It's kind of a chance for them to sell their book. The weirdos that try to make "normal" review I could do without

  • I really like Tennokai
  • I haven't gotten around to play with it much yet, but yeah I quite like it so far as well. Great to have bit more depth and power too for melee. I did have turn down the whatever effect intensity setting though, it was hard for me to see the flash on a more busy missions.

  • Activision Blizzard settles sex discrimination lawsuit for £44m
  • "£36.85m ($46.75m) will be shared between claimants who claim that they were unfairly paid, and £7.1m ($9.1m) will cover associated legal fees" That's a pretty good chunk of discrimination there. Probably not a lot of money for the company, but probably a lot of claimants
