It's a solid game! It really is just over the top fun through and through. The saddest part for me was finishing the game.

If they can invent a lightweight vr headset, that doesn't make me feel ill or sweat to high heavens then i'd be 100% onboard with it.
Bad for anybody with disabilities who require the space, bad for people with clastrophobia.
All I have to say is eeeew, hard pass. I do not want to be on the lower seat. Especially after someone has just eaten airline food.

It appears facepunch maybe cracking down on some features that proved beneficial to those who have been gaining what they deem an unfair advantage from third-party apps.
It's unfortunate but does seem fair. Rust+ is a nice thing for those of us who have a life outside of rust and can't be at our desks 24/7 guarding from offliners but it would be unfair to use some kind of addon to get alerts whilst inside the game.
That's one of the reasons you can no longer use the CCTV cameras whilst being online, in the game world. So you can't use the cams to see where enemies might be.
The CCTV camera isn't 100% usable tbh I hate it but I can see where people might gain an advantage over others.

Thing is I was logged in.. but still kept prompting me with a login message. Reddit is onto some dodgy shit.
If the monetisation is really poor I have in the past opted to play Private Servers. Especially when Aion went from being hosted by NCsoft in EU to being hosted by gameforge.
Gameforge has a history of corruption, legal gold selling, power abuse and predatory monetisation to name a few. I felt justified in playing private servers.
I do hope it becomes more acceptable when it comes to mmo's no longer online. There have been cases where an mmo community has been handed over to players so that they can host it which I very much like. There are hardcore players that want to play it and they should be able too.
If there was a Firefall Private server I would've played it. Unfortunately that game is dead and gone.
