Do you have the comment "Jump button" enabled?
  • Enabled! In fact, I’m using this app specifically because the jump button works so much better than the other two top iOS apps. Memmy’s is a buggy mess that always returns you to the top of the post the first time you tap it. Voyager’s seems to be perfect. Goes down one thread when tapped, and goes up one thread when held. I dunno if it should be on by default or not, but it is a big advantage of this app over Memmy and Mlem.

  • YouTube once again ahead of uBO on Firefox; fiddling with the extension settings not working this time and DDG search is useless ... anyone got ideas?
  • Same! I'm really hoping it stays that way. This seems wildly annoying to combat. I've been fine so far with adguard premium on Windows, iOS, and Android tho.

  • Risk of Rain Returns – Launch Trailer
  • I don’t think that’s the case at all. Gearbox is developing a mobile game to take advantage of owning the property, along with whatever they plan to do with Risk of Rain 2 now. Returns is from the original studio and is more of a love letter / farewell to the franchise.

  • A summary of what happened between Blahaj.Zone and Hexbear.Net
  • Would you be interested in trying again in the future if the Hexbear admins do as well? Hexbear users are still acclimating to the dramatically different cultures of other instances. Having a top mod defend another mod (who was removing comments purely because they disagreed with them) by using a slur repeatedly was just too much. I really don’t think it would have gotten so bad if that 196 top mod wasn’t instigating. It’s hard to defend the behavior on the initial meta post, but people here are openly and widely insulting Hexbear users as a whole. The vast majority of them are not tankies and yet that word is being used constantly to justify belittling all of them. I can understand getting upset. It would be beneficial long term to have these two instances federated in my opinion.

  • Feature: Comment Navigation Button!

Lemmy is getting pretty active! Some posts have hundreds of comments now.

The app desperately needs a comment navigation button. The way this worked in most reddit apps is a single little button that hovers over the comments. A single press will take you down one thread. A hold will take you up one thread.

Is this something that's planned or in beta?

  • The person you responded to initially is talking about conservatives hiding that about themselves lol. That's why they said it the way they did.
