I’m really impressed by how quickly the plate is getting assembled. I didn’t expect the manifolds to get added for another week or so, and now they’re at 2 / 3.
I’m not sure what the bottleneck is at the moment. Once everything is lifted in place they can move B9 over, but they might want to wait until they hit stage adapter is added.
B9 could go through spin prime tests without the plane being ready, and the plate can get tested without all deluge water & gas tanks present. We’re also it sure how far along the other OLM repairs are (cryo pipes are still being replaced). So there’s a ton of stuff happening in parallel.
Exciting stuff happening right now (See Starbase Live).
- Launch site movement with the SPMT that transported the steel plate for the water deluge system and the SPMT with the Jig!
- Jig is being moved into position and now a crane is being raised! Things are getting exciting this morning.
- At the same time S28 is getting a payload door.
edit: And here’s the latest RGV Flyover video, which is the flyover from last week. Interesting content, but already heavily out of date.

I guess the sponsors will be happy with this.
You have to find the same community in your home instance, instead of going to that instance directly.
I agree this is confusing, especially if you come there from a link. There’s no easy “go to this community on my instance” link right now, though there are user scripts to make this easier.
What you can do is copy a link to a community or post and paste it in the search on your home instance. That’ll hopefully show that post and allow you to subscribe.

Might be a decent result for Perez, but I know Max wouldn’t be happy to finish 3rd, 12 seconds behind a Ferrari and 40 seconds behind his teammate.
TLDW: 650 meters long, in Hesse.
In my case Inplan on using this to auto post videos related to SpaceX over in the SpaceX community. There are a few high quality channels that hopefully will end up having nice discussions.
I guess you could consider this a feature request, and that mod tooling is a ways off, but it’d be nice to default to not showing deleted posts, since it can be pretty confusing to see them without a different indicator or so :)
Really happy Lando got the DOTD and not Checo “Bin it in quali and almost make up for it during the race” Perez
Also please let me know of communities that are better fit to show this!

Hi all,
I've put together some code on on Val Town that easily allows auto-publishing videos on Youtube channels to a Lemmy community.
It's simple enough that hopefully anyone should be able to set it up, and Val Town has a free tier which should be enough for anyone to publish a few feeds for free. There's a "README" on top showing how it's used.
Anyway, let me know what you think! If you end up using it, I'd love to get some thoughts on how easy it was to set up etc.

RGV Sneak Peek shows some nice shots of the steel plates, as well as the pour under the OLM. Looks like a lot more concrete is needed though, wonder when that’ll happen.
The steel plates look ready for transport, so I bet this next pour will be soon — it seems to be the main hold up.
And being lifted in place as we speak. NSF coverage: https://www.youtube.com/live/mhJRzQsLZGg?feature=share
If you look at the package.json in the source, you can see this uses Ionic for its UI components.
Thanks for your updates @pigeonberry@lemmy.world. I know our community here is small so I'm glad some of us keep putting in the effort :)
Looks like the Ship Quick-Disconnect is back!
Is there a way to manually trigger a sync or so?
Seeing other reply to you on another instance, and not being able to respond because those replies aren’t on lemm.ee is very frustrating.
Check out this RGV picture from the plate in the tent from above: https://twitter.com/rgvaerialphotos/status/1674925187437928450?s=46&t=Mj914Aam14loAYQOISZ9zQ
I know Twitter links are kind of impossible to follow right now, but don’t think I can embed an image in a comment. Anyway, that plate is huge, will be interesting to see them lift and transport it.
Definitely appreciate the improved speed, but the persistent federation issues has left me in a permanent FOMO state.
It does load that JSON very quickly!
Tried to post this as an image, but just getting “file did not match pattern” or so, alas…
